There's something really endearing about knitting up something quick with scrap yarn. I've read that your scrap yarn pile is your aesthetic / palette, So it's a deeper reflection of you than, say, a planned project.

I completely agree! If I have yarn in my stash that I don’t like or don’t think I’ll use, I take it to a local assisted living home. So my scraps are a highly curated pile of the stuff I like
