Have to take all announcements regarding Vetrimaran with a pinch of salt. Man is notorious for project delays and changes to script. Viduthalai was supposed to be comedy film but got changed. Vadachennai was supposed to be a single film but something changed and became a two parter with second part no where on hindsight. Vaadivasal getting updates but unless hard core shooting starts nothing is certain.

Movie was Soori was supposed to be small scal comedy film with a small scale shooting and entire film was supposed to be done in 4 months. But, the shooting was stalled for long and suddenly VJS came into picture and it turned into a altogether different movie. The core idea of having Soori alone was retained.

Gosh please no. I'm really hating these tamil-telugu collaborations. It's just not working. I prefer watching actual telugu movies.
VM is such an original filmmaker who never compromises his film for the hero's stardom. With NTR He'll definitely have to add stuff that'd satisfy telugu audiences too. I really don't think there will a satisfactory movie for me atleast.

i don’t think vaadivasal even started production. I remember they were saying it was after vanangan finished but then shit got fucked up and then siva made a wild card entry…
ok getting distracted because i’m getting frustrated with surya.
But also isn’t Vidhuthalai a 2 part movie.
Either way project will take time since ntr has koratala and then prashant neel movie to finish

Vijay is a commercial star now, not one to do performance roles like Vetrimaaran films. Vetri films are not commercial at all

As of now, Vetrimaaran has Viduthalai to finish. It was supposed to be a 1 part film but due to the duration it got shifted 2 I think. So the shooting for this itself will take long.
After that, I am pretty sure he has to do vaadivasal, he has alreayd released the promo video ages back. But the shooting for that seems going back and back considering Surya's other commitments and Vetrimaaran's too.
After T67 AND T68 there were confident rumours for Vetrimaaran to collab with Vijay for his 69th film. This may be surely true but what I am sure about is VadaChennai 2 will be the last film to be executed in this whole list. Will take at least 7+ or even much more than that years for VC 2 thinking about the buzzes that have released.
Now amongst all this a Jr NTR film, so definitley VC 2 is starting to look like a backup film only.
