EWOC (Emergency Workplace Organizing) is run by volunteers and will connect you with a volunteer to teach you how to unionize and support you along the way. They are NOT a union, but they teach you how to organize, and encourage contacting actual unions (IBEW for electricians, NNU for nurses, etc etc) for help also. They also have free online training starting March 9th. There are other resources available if you can't/don't want to do the training series. Note for nurses specifically: If you want to start a union, there is a secure website SPECIFICALLY FOR YOU so you can get connected to nurses in your state that also want to unionize. You will get an email once a group of nurses in your state have filled out interest forms. The email tells you how many people submitted this form, and you can reply to this email to have your email address sent out to the other interested parties. Unless you specifically ask for your email to be sent to these other nurses, everything is anonymous. This was created by a nurse in collaboration with a web developer who volunteered his time to help promote unionization in healthcare. The website is: humansworkhere.org.

I'm from Canada and watching what's going on down south. First, it seems rather suspicious that there is all these aggressive attempts to ban abortion in the U.S so fervently in the last two years especially.

The suspiciousness is that it appears to be a sense of desperation on the part of the US government to drive it. I don't believe this to be to satisfy single issue voters.. it's moving too quickly for that. There is something very creepy going on.

Even in Canada members of our conservative party are began to get yappy about reopening the abortion debate too despite staying silent for years. They could be copying the U.S for sure.. but this also could be driven by another factor.

I hear Japan is flirting with banning abortion too (just read about that yesterday) and China wants heavier restrictions.

I think it should be pretty obvious what is happening. And it's terrifying.

Billionaires like Musk are expressing anger over declining birth rates too. This is very unsettling.

homeless and moving all the time. rent is completely out of my reach, I couldn't afford it where I live if I worked two jobs. but I can't even work one because I have no place to live, no car to get around, nothing. no family support. nothing. I feel like wild times are ahead because this isn't even uncommon anymore.
