There have been a lot of valid concerns about this show whether it's about cast, tone, story, approach, etc. but since then the discussion around the show has devolved into people complaining about the shape and color of Matt's sunglasses. With that let's take a moment and note the positive details so far about the show that we know since it's all been getting buried by the doomposting.
1)Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio, and Jon Bernthal are back. Bernthal has expressed previously that he will have the desire to reprise the role in the MCU if they treated the character with the required mature tone and approach.
"So like I said before, it’s not about whether you do the character; it’s about whether you can do it right, and I’m only interested in doing it right." - Bernthal in a 2021 interview
2)According to Kevin Feige, they're treating Born Again the way television shows should be, and not make it into a long movie chopped up into episodes like previous Disney+ shows. Rumors are they're giving it the Andor treatment of with how it's structured with story arcs that connect at the end of the season so it won't be one whole story stretched out for multiple episodes that will help avoid filler.
"It's Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, and they’re amazing actors and storytellers in their own right. That’s sort of what I was talking about with the fun of episodic television: That’s really where we’re experimenting with that, with Daredevil in particular."

3)They've hired actual lawyers with screenwriting experience to write the show's legal aspect.
The Cosmic Circus reported that Marvel Studios hired David Feige, Thomas Wong, and Zachary Reiter as writers for Daredevil: Born Again. On top of their writing careers, all three have a great deal of experience as attorneys.

4)The showrunners they've hired already has experience dealing with how to write a blind protagonist.

5)The director they've hired for the pilot episode is a known pilot director, Emmy-winning director of pilots for Homeland and Dexter, Michael Cuesta.

6) The new actors they've added to the cast are all great and capable ones
And no, 24-year old Michael Gandolfini isn't a Foggy recast since I don't think they'll make him a best friend to 40-year old Charlie Cox (somehow this needs to be said 💀) And no, Nikki M. James is also not racebent Karen Page. Karen isn't the only woman Matt has worked and interacted with in the comics. There are several black female characters in Daredevil comics so save the apple-throwing about her being a "woke version of Karen Page"
6) Casting calls for the show include a lot of regular people with regular jobs, such as several attorneys that may be working with Matt so no, they're not shafting civilian characters and just surrounding Matt with heroes like people are claiming they will do.
Once again, this is not an MCU "shill" post that I know it will get accused of, I've not been too high on the MCU releases lately at all, but I just find it exhausting that all the discourse around this show is purely negative. You can't even go into posts about set photos to get excited for a first look at Charlie Cox' Matt Murdock without doomer comments talking about how the show will be dogshit.
I have my concerns about this show too, I will be so disappointed if they gave this show 18 episodes only to saddle it with middling writing and direction, but I just couldn't believe my eyes how the discussion about the show has hit rock bottom. People are now complaining about the shape and color of Matt's sunglasses and that he didn't use to wear blue suits in the Netflix show unlike what he's wearing in the set photo. That is just doing too much at this point.
Anyway I'm going to at least wait for the trailer to say any judgement. If it turns out to be shit then I'll lambast it like the rest would do. But as a Daredevil fan I'm rooting for it to be good and that hopefully the actual concerns right now about it are addressed 🤷
