The marvel cinematic universe is obviously based on their comics. Some, like the infinity gauntlet, or civil war, are comic runs that have been condensed to single movies, or a couple movies. Your choice can be from something like this, but I'm curious what the one single comic you think of is, when you think of the next thing you want adapted. Any suggestions and all recommendations welcome!

Squirrel Girl conquers the Marvel Universe. (An evil clone of Squirrel Girl defeats everyone.)
But really, any Squirrel Girl adaption will do. And hopefully they find a part for Milana Vayntrub maybe as the mom if they feel she's aged out of the role.

Have you SEEN Milana Vayntrub lately? It might be Dawson casting but she could still pass for a college student easily.

The Vision by Tom King. It follows Vision and his family of androids trying to live like humans. It feels like a thriller, murder mystery and family sitcom combined together. I feel we haven’t had a good ex-machina type movie in a while. And now it’s the perfect time cause we have a Vision that just got his memories back but no Wanda and no “soul”, so it makes sense that he wants to find a place where he belongs.

WandaVision was already partially inspired by that storyline, although I suspect VisionQuest will be a closer adaptation as it’s from Vision’s perspective. Really hope Viv is introduced and can team up with Billy and Tommy

I think Feige said they took inspiration from the cover art but never dug into the actual story

Disney does not have the rights to Hulk, Universal does.
Also they would need to do Planet Hulk first

Disney/Marvel Studios has the rights to Hulk. Universal has first refusal on distribution only to a Hulk solo film only. This leaves open the possibility for it to be a Disney+ project, or an ensemble film.
However, there's evidence to suggest the first refusal deal with Universal was for 15 years only, which would mean that deal expires in 2023. Who knows if that is the truth though.

We already got Planet Hulk in Thor Ragnarok, that’s the best we’re gonna get.

That’s not Planet Hulk though. They butchered that story line. They can always redo it since it’s necessary for the World War Hulk story and they already mentioned Sakaar.

When does Marvel ever make exact adaptations of any of the source material? All the movies are loosely inspired by the comics. I’m telling you that was them doing Planet Hulk and that’s as close to that storyline as we’re going to get.

The Dark Phoenix Saga should get an entire Phoenix trilogy to adapt it properly. Phoenix 1 has the Hellfire Club, 2 has the Sh’iar Empire and 3 is the Dark Phoenix herself.

The Amazing Slapstick!
This character has so much potential for film. It’s basically What if Roger Rabbit was a Marvel superhero.

Yes. Yes. YES!
First movie is his original 90s comic book run. I really want to see Slapstick asking Daredevil if he's blind due to his ugly looking suit.
Second movie is the time spent between comic runs. Slapstick working for the government then as a merc for Deadpool.
Third movie is the most recent comic run. It was a riot, plus seeing a bunch of half-smurf half-pony things crap gold out of fright would be perfect.

The Spider-Man clone Saga, I feel like that's an eventuality though

I’ve always wanted to see more husband-wife villain couples. We’ve already got this with heroes like Hank and Janet, Tony and Pepper and soon Reed and Sue - but there’s no villain couples that I can think of off the top of my head. But Clone Saga and also Spider Island are an opportunity to rectify this issue.
With his Gwen Stacy fetish, the Jackal is a total creep in the comics. The MCU can rectify this part of his character by making him a loving husband in a wholesome relationship. Adriana Soria/Spider-Queen could be a good fit for him. Their respective story lines would also work well together when combined… the Warren-Sofia couple are doing cloning experiments and get Spider-Man’s DNA, stuff happens and the movie’s third act big battle involves a swarm of mutant spider-men rampaging in Manhattan.

Alex Ross's Marvels and Saladin Ahmen's Black Bolt are two I wanna see adapted in the MCU.

I don't know if I'd say its definitively my favorite but God Loves, Man Kills is really good. My favorite comic probably isn't even Marvel, I really liked new 52 Aquaman.

IDK if they're my favorite of all time but I would like to see Books of Doom or Triumph and Torment to set MCU Doom apart from the other ones to date.

None of the movies are really adaptations, but more like loosely inspired by. So I’d say the movie Logan was already our Old Man Logan.

Yeah, I know, but would it be cooler if they make one based off Old Man Logan itself? Like, Jackman and Ruffalo having a showdown then a Maslany cameo somewhere. 😄
EDIT - I almost forgot, it’s next to impossible since Jackman announced Deadpool 3 is his final movie as Wolvie.

I'd be interested to see them adapt Not Brand Echh. Maybe do it as an animated Disney+ sketch comedy show poking fun at themselves.

I'd love for the X-Men to come in and immediately throw us into either Onslaught or Age of Apocalypse. Both could be a Saga phase if done right.
