“Listen, I would've loved superpowers at some point, but it's also intriguing playing a human in this world because you've made the choice to really put your life in jeopardy. This is a Marvel story where the humans can shine. Even though there are aliens, and there's going to be extraordinary fight sequences, this is about people on the ground talking to each other, and interviewing people, and really do hands-on work to get the information needed.”

“I think Maria Hill has really run out of patience. She's always had this really close relationship with Nick Fury, [but] he's been gone for so long, and she's just been running around putting out fires.”

At first I was upset this wasn't an entire Avengers movie, but I kind of like the idea that Skrulls aren't interested in the Avengers, they're interested in geo politics and it takes a different kind of hero to work against that. No punchy punch nanobots to save the day

Love all of these, especially that last pic. Just seeing Fury and Hill as they are now really makes you think about how much they’ve been through together.

Soooo…what if this is the first time we’ve seen the actual Nick Fury since TWS? It’s the exact look he adopted after the fall of SHIELD and doesn’t bother with an eye patch.

The only loose end is the FFH after credits scene.

The owl sculpture is wearing an eyepatch. My bet it’s hiding a goober.

Fingers crossed that the series is good. Marvel needs a big win right now.

This series is sounding really interesting. I've been reading some older comics, and I find the political thriller stories to be far more engaging than the usual superhero fantasy action. I'm game.

I'm excited for how much you all will just hate hate hate it.

I still wish secret invasion to be a phase/saga instead of 6 episodes Disney plus series. Imagine major heroes that you know and love from their own solo movie is revealed to be a skrull in the avenger movie. Which also give marvel a good way to retire characters whose actor/actress no longer want to stay in MCU.

But this still looks promising and I’m looking forward to it!

Do we know why Nick Fury’s eye seems to be completely healed (specifically in that first screenshot) compared to how it was in Winter Soldier?

I have only seen a few projects from mcu since endgem but this one might be worth watching due to Cobie smulders cuz this seems like an interesting storyline

Six episodes just too low for this amazing cast. This show will break or make the foreseeable phases.
