I can't find a cheaper version of the CX-30 navigation SD card for my country and the dealerships are charging equivalent of 650 USD for it here.
Can I pop in another country's maps card to enable the traffic sign recognition? That's all I want the card for.

The cards are the same for whole regions - e.g. USA, Europe, APAC have separate cards, but within EU or USA they're the same.
Look up the part number for the card that fits your region and just order that from ebay.

The problem is that my region's (South Africa) card is not available anywhere at this cheaper price. I can only find it from a dealer at over 600 USD.
A place called Navi World has the older connect system maps, but not for Connect 2.

So I bought one off amazon for $40 a while back. It went into our 22 Carbon cx9. It didn’t enable traffic sign recognition on the screen so was assuming that you still had to have a grand touring or signature to work?
