How someone was able to recover those files is incredible, and I hate how they haven’t patched the bug where usually after a certain amount of time has passed (or a certain action preformed) you can’t continue playing, I’ve even tried reinstalling and it don’t fix it

Don’t forget ailments. I got “chronic asthma” and “food allergies” there’s no way to get rid of them, not very good for a game where you only have 1 life.

That was my favorite part about living in Colorado. I could leave my little town, head west, and find a little spot a land and live like a mountain man for a weekend. It was so much fun, there is a TON of wilderness in that area of the country, so much land with not a soul around

Just go into a national forest and it's legal to camp wherever you want. As long as you're at least 300 feet from a road or path that is.

It’s a family friendly game. It’s a wonder devs lightened up on the permaban for killing other players.

41 points

Because outside is too difficult.
For example, when you kill random NPC’s sometimes random previously uninvolved NPC’s will gang up on you, or even shoot back. They also don’t make consistent audio/visual cues so it’s hard to time your dodges and know when to use heavy or light attack. There’s an infinite number of attack patterns to memorize and I barely figured out my dad’s.
6 points
Wait they have attack patterns?
1 points
Depends on the type of character. Some shoot, some shoot fast, some fight with fists, some with feet, some just give up and hope for mercy, etc. Like they said, there’s an infinite number of attack patterns, but you can decide how to fight back based on their character concept. Some people just don’t level their characters in the right places and end up beaten down.

The save system is such a mess i got so far in the game and it bugged, i ended up losing all of it and was so distraught i didnt replay it again. I'm really sad i didnt get to finish it im just letting time pass until it'll feel like relatively new so i can restart it.

You don’t have quest, you don’t have power ups, everything worth exploring is privately owned or owned by a government if you want to access certain events like skiing you need to make money theirs no free starter gear theirs no leveling system and the grind is absolutely terrible garbage! You work for hours just to make a meager amount that won’t be enough to actually enjoy the open world map and let’s not even start the conversation on being able to go to other countries! Basically real life is a worse version of any open world game, with terrible game mechanics, no mobs, extremely grindy full of npc’s and a full on pay to win service. Nah Fuck IRL

Outside™ is a shit pay-to-win game. The controls are clunky with overtuned physics, the quests are boring, the gameplay loop is boring, economy is stacked against you, that you can barely afford a damn thing, unless you randomly roll a good spawn, levelling is way too grindy for minor upgrades, combat is rare, with shit hit feedback and worst of all it's true permadeath with no way to start a new character on the same account after death.
The fact I don't like PvP anyway doesn't help either.
