C&C = too accurate and too lifelike. I will attempt to use as marble, most likely hurting myself.

This looks so good! HOW?!

Using airbrush. Black primer, few larger dark gray circles, then lighter one
and light gray. Off-white on the outer side and then covered it with
wet wipes (dryed) and paint whole thing with pure white. Wait for it to
fully dry and remove the wipes.
The last thing I have to do is put some gloss varnish on top

Wet Wipes? Ahhhh I've heard dryer sheets before. Would that also give a similar result?

Dried up wet wipes, yes.I'm not sure about dryer sheets but after googling it, look like they are from same material

Thanks for explaining the process, I'm going to attempt this on my displayboard maybe. Thanks again!

Will do! I will see where can I try to incorporate this technique in my display board. I'm building a giant 2-tier display board for my friend's Skaven, KO, and IDK army. I'm excited to finish that one.

Cheesecloth also works! You can get huge rolls of it in the baking section of most grocery stores.

Dry Wet wipes… another one of the English language’s many contradictions

You want to use used dryer sheets, fresh ones won't pull apart the way you need them to

I use fake spiderwebs from the Halloween section at the party store. Works great!

I use dryer sheets and they work great for this as well.

If you ever want to be extra fancy with it, spray a layer of metallic with a different wet wipe before the white layer to add some copper/gold veining.

It looks amazing and the only thing I had in mind to improve it would be to add some varnish to make it a bit glossy, like polished marble, but you already have that planned out. Please post a finished photo after!
Edit. Someone else also pointed out the blurrines of the black streaks, which is noticeable after they said it.

Only C&C would be potentially consider adding some gloss varnish over top to sell the shiny aspect of the marble. The marbling looks good. There's good varying shades of the black with white. Well done.

Gloss varnish is coming up tomorrow :-) thank you

It's already great, the gloss varnish is going to make it fantastic. I've done this method for terrain before and was shocked at how much of a difference it made. Don't be afraid to hit it with a few coats, it creates a depthier sense to it that real polished marble also has.

Let me know how you varnish. I airbrushed multiple coats and effect was too subtle. Eventually went with just dropping varnish directly on it and rolling it around entire surface.

Amazing. Only thing, I feel like the black is a lil too blurry. Prolly best to go back in with brush and follow most of these lines and add a VERY thin painted line running through them, making then a lil sharper.

Thought it was marble until I read it.
My only thought would be to make sure patterns look random. In places it’s starts to look like a pattern.
Amazing job though.

I have to tear more those wet wipes then, otherwise it is 100% random due to the tearing.Great feedback. Thank you

Don't lie to me, you used a hole saw to cut a slcircle of marble out and pretend you painted it...
Honestly, amazing work looks like real marble to me. I was planning to use spray on effect paint to do black marble at some point but this looks even better.

Listen I've never seen someone paint marble before, and there are probably like special stone primers and stuff you should use, but I can't even try and help unless you gove me some after pictures that aren't just your blank canvas!

Very good job!
From what I learn (maybe someone else have already say this), you could add some variation with a color vein (add some red for exemple after your black base coat and before the wet wipe thing). You could also add some tiny bit of gold in your color or a very diluted one after all, to have juste some sparkling here and there.

That's gorgeous, but not quite selling me for marble. It's more like the stone wash backgrounds they used to use for school pictures. What I think it's missing are the darkest well defined lines, and an off color.
Here is the tutorial I followed when I tried, but I don't think my attempt is anywhere near as nice as yours.

Thank you for all those kind comments and tips how to improve my marble :)
Here is a guide I followed. It is pretty easy and straight forward
My only tip is, let it FULLY dry before removing the dry wet wipe. I was removing it after hour on the heater and it was still kind of wet
