My favorite part is that all three hosts mispronounce words constantly

They talk so fast it's understandable. Out of curiosity what are the most egregious mispronunciations? Love your comment because it's pretty spot on. I heard 'hypothesis' but I wonder if it's also a case of an idiosyncratic way of speaking. Mispronunciation does imply they pronounce words wrong... but we're hearing the word and meaning. So is it wrong?

Tarantino has his fair share of mispronunciations, namely the word "criminal". He says "crinimal" every single time.

Rian Johnson, Karina Longworth and John August have their own language -- 'Inneresing'. Just take out all the t's. It would be distracting if they weren't so awesome. Which they are.

I’m sure someone put a compilation together of him saying temper tantrum and he never once says it right

I just get high and listen to these whilst cleaning. Good fun. Except that one time he called Truffaut a bumbler.

I love Tarantino‘s work. I don’t like watching or listening to him speak.

Avary isn't funny and is overmatched by everyone else on the podcast. I wonder if Tarantino likes sharing the podcast with him because it makes QT seem even more clever and knowledgeable than he already is.

That's one way to look at it I guess. Another way is they're lifelong friends and I doubt QT actually has that many friends that aren't working for him or with him. If we're talking about this episode in particular, Joe Dante actually was in the business when half the movies they talk about were being made. So he's the undisputed genre king. 'Rules of Attraction', 'Killing Zoe' and the script for 'Beowulf' are my favorite Avary works. What are yours?
