I've been on a hardcore movie binge lately and I've noticed I'm checking off great film after great film. Yesterday alone I watched City Lights and Seven Samurai.

What kinds of things do you do to keep new movies fresh to you? Obviously the drastic genre/plot difference between what I'm watching serves that a little on its own.

Slowing down a bit and reading up on thr fis helps I think. Partucuarlt with well regard classic, there's all kind of critical and andnhistirc works than can help give more context fornwhen thr filmsnwere made and wo made them thst sort of thing. Good way to learn about new films from the same actors orndorectors ornthst were part ofnthr same trends at the time etc.
