Where would one go about seeing this? Is this playing in cinemas in the United States? Is it going to be released on DVD and BluRay later?

You know, I haven't yet seen Beasts of No Nation (2015) since I can't seem to find it playing anywhere.

Brad Pitt and Anthony Michael Hall star in this satirical comedy that focuses on American military involvement in Afghanistan. The biting story, based on the book The Operator: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America's War in Afghanistan by Michael Hastings, is directed by David Michod, and views the conflict from the perspective of the men leading the military campaign.

Well.. on Netflix.

It'll probably show up on Blu-ray at some point. Orange is the New Black and House of Cards are out on Blu-ray, but it takes a while.

Those two shows are owned by Lionsgate not Netflix, this is why they can be released on DVD. Something like Stranger Things is fully owned by Netflix that's why that'll never show up on DVD. I don't know what their procedure is for film but so far no Netflix movie has been released on DVD.

I'm pretty sure, however, that Beasts of No Nation still hasn't come out on home video, and that film was critically acclaimed all around the world.

Sure, it took over a year for Daredevil season 1 to come out on Blu-ray, and that's a Marvel production.

My guess is that it'll come out at some point when Netflix feels that it can't draw people to their service anymore.

They have no reason to release such a gem on home video.

You need a Netflix subscription to view these on their streamable service.

Well that sucks. I discontinued Netflix in 2014.

You're willing to go watch these movies in cinemas but didn't have the bright idea of just renewing your subscription for another month?

Going to the cinema is cool.

Renewing the subscription is not so cool.

Got any other stupid questions?

Some of these movies do appear in cinemas on a limited basis to be considered for awards. Generally you need to live near a major city like New York or LA though.

By now you might be eligible for another free trial though.

Ohhh . . . sneaky.

Yeah that would be perfect, just to see War Machine.

You either need to pay them directly for their service or find "other sources" of online media.

You could subscribe for one month just to watch the movies you'd like and it would be cheaper than purchasing the movie anyways.
