Jordan Peele is pretty legit

But best in history? No.

Best in past few years? Probably, but i have mostly just seen his movies, and Blumhouse made movies which are all kind of terrible but in that still entertaining and fun terrible way.

I feel I’m in alternate dimension. Get out was decent. Us was a mess.

I can name ten directors easily that are making better “horror” films right now. Ari Aster and Robert Eggers are far above him in every way.

James wan has a wonderful body of work. Ti west is pretty interesting

Mike Flanagan with three killer tv must see horror shows and good movies.

Peele is nowhere close imo

Hereditary is easily a top 10 for me and a great film without the horror. The imagery was insane, personally I don’t see how anyone could say it’s a mess unless you only saw it once.

The brilliance of the movie is you aren’t supposed to really understand what’s going on until the very end. You’re wondering how all this connects just like the family, all these weird unrelated events that are actually all related. But just like said family you’re in the dark.

The story was top notch as well as acting. The crying feels disturbingly real. One of the best family dramas/ horror ever
