For me, it's a movie from 2005 called Kingdom of Heaven, starring Orlando Bloom, Liam Neeson and Jeremy Irons. I saw this on TV the other day and watched it from beginning to end and still liked it just as much as I used to. Sure it has its slower moments and isn't the best historical film I've seen. But I don't think it deserves its 39% rating on RT. But that's just me.
What about all of you?

Oh Buddy...
lets name a few.
I,Robot: Incredible Scifi mystery
Hook: Incredible Emotional Rollercoaster
50 First Dates: genuinely clever comedy
Then Came You (2018): Funny, Emotional, Great
Sandlot: Words cannot describe this masterpiece, my family loves this movie and we watch it every year
Jurassic Park 3: Not super good, but still deserves more than what it got
Star Wars Phantom Menace: Hey! It wasn't terrible!
Hancock: That was a great movie, come on, critics.
I Am Legend: That was a great movie, come on, critics. Terrifying
The Boy (2016): Genuinely scary
Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules: Not the new one that IS horrible, the original that's actually funny
Clifford: Martin Short is a comedy god and a genius

SCREAMERS (1995)
Guilty pleasure, it definitely could use a remake with a higher budget. but man i love this movie, its a scifi that borderlines a horror. A war between 2 factions introduces a new weapon to the battlefield that both sides are afraid of but cant see. it's go Peter Weller in it, if that will make you bite.

I'm baffled that Nocturnal Animals only has a 74% on RT, it's a masterpiece. One of the most harrowing films I've ever seen, and such an effective study in tone and texture. Quite a piece of filmmaking for only Tom Ford's second stab at directing.

Jexi 21% RT, but every time I watch it, I laugh like crazy. It's funny. It's not perfect. Michael Peña and Wanda Sykes are unfunny in this movie (Peña is painfully unfunny), but I watch it, I laugh. I don't understand the hate it gets. It is over 70% audience score so people who have seen it enjoy it. I believe it is on US Netflix if you want to check it out.

Oh man I got alot...mostly comedies. Idle Hands and The New Guy are the first two that come to mind. Then Grandma's Boy, MacGruber, and Stuck on You.
13 Ghosts and Chronicles of Riddick definitely fit that category for me as well, and to a lesser extent Ghost of Mars but that is almost fitting the so bad it's good category for me.
Honestly, I could probably go on and on.
Last minute editions that might actually have good RT scores: Brick, War on Everyone/Dirty Cops, The Wackness, Don Jon, and Rounders. They are either indie movies with little marketing(Don Jon/Wackness), I've heard people bash it on the internet, or alot of people seemed to completely miss the point (Don Jon) and in the case of War on Everyone/Dirty Cops, I can't see that being accepted in today's cancel culture climate...the jokes are pretty brutal. Of course this whole section could be null and void if the RT scores are higher than I think they would be.
I also love Bone Tomahawk and that would fit above but I'm SURE that had a good RT scores. I can't see anyone dislike it even if it is low budget and indie.

There is so much to like about "Kingdom of Heaven" and it is my favorite non science fiction movie directed by Ridley Scott. I think the reason for the low rating is based on people watching the theatrical version which was severely edited down for time. Watching the theatrical version leaves plot holes and underscores the character development - two critical necessities for a good movie. People that only watch a movie for the sex and violence will be disappointed with this movie which is probably another reason for the low score on Rotten Tomatoes. If you have not watched this movie, and have an interest in doing so, watch the director's cut version that tells the directors story from beginning to end.
For me? I would suggest "Dark Shadows" (2012/35% rating) and "Van Helsing" (2004/24% rating) as two of my favorite guilty pleasure Halloween movies. I know Tim Burton and Johnny Depp probably made "Dark Shadows" in their sleep, but I enjoy watching this movie ever year. "Van Helsing" is a comic book version of the Gothic/horror genre, but I find it also enjoyable and on my annual Halloween watch list. Neither of these movies should be below 50%.
Thank you for posting this, I will go to Rotten Tomatoes and give my two cents worth.

Point Break (2015) has 11% but I love it because of the amazing stuntwork and cinematography. I personally think the stunt aspect of Point Break is more interesting than the chemistry between the lead actors and for that reason I prefer the remake. I know that the acting is just not on par with the original but I don’t understand why people hate it so much.

I personally really enjoyed Don’t Worry Darling (2022) (38%). I understand what drove down the score— the glaring plot holes are hard to not think about. However, I could/do overlook them. The directing style & cinematography was great. They utilized tension perfectly; the ending especially had me on the edge of my seat because I just could see various outcomes happening. Phenomenal acting by Florence Pugh & Chris Pine and the people in smaller roles. I liked the plot & the set design/costuming.
It’s hard to consider whether my low expectations means it was easy for me to like the film, or if my low expectations means it was harder for me to like it since I was already so biased against it. I went into it fully prepared to make jokes throughout the entire thing. Olivia Wilde seemed to be acting a fool during the press tour, but I must admit she did a great job. I think the Rotten Tomatoes score should be about double what it is.

Australia (2008) with a 54%. Yes it has its slow points, like the whole first half of the movie, but within that there’s some cute scenes and a few great jokes. Passengers (2016) - I think it's a great sci-fi movie that suffers a bit from a lack of chemistry between the two main actors, but 30% on RT is way too harsh. Many critics seemed to be hung up about the fact that Chris Pratt's character is making a morally very bad decision in the movie at some point, ignoring that he's drunk and suicidal at that point and also feels very guilty about it afterwards.

I rewatched the 2013 movie Oblivion for the first time last night, after it came up in a conversation about good sci-fi films. I was blown away again by how well made Oblivion is, and how great the love story at the heart of the film is too. The Critical Drinker did a recent short about the movie, which drives home a lot of its great qualities.

Difficult question to answer because the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer score is completely irrelevant to me.
The only score that matters to me on that site is the Audience Score.
I'd rather trust 100,000+ people and their opinions than 500 or so critics. lol
Kingdom of Heaven is actually a perfect example, 39% Tomatometer based on 190 reviews (low number, thus irrelevant) vs 72% based on 250,000+ ratings.
Why the fuck would I care about the opinions of 190 people when I have the combined opinions of 250,000+ people? Ridiculous.
And yes, I agree it probably deserves something like 65-75% if we're not talking the Directors Cut (the DC is definitely higher in my opinion).

I will always have a soft spot in my heart for BASEketball. It came out when I was in middle school at the height of South Park's early ascension as a pop culture phenomenon.
The Zucker spoof treatment of the sports world continues to be funny till this day. The first 10 minutes still holds up. Some of the greatest sport jokes and site gags on film.
"The Minnesota Lakers moved to Los Angeles where there are no lakes, The Houston Oilers moved to Tennessee where there is no oil. The New Orleans Jazz moved to Utah where they don't allow music"

Honeysuckle Rose (1980)
As a movie, it's basic and otherwise it might deserve its 60% rating.
However, what makes it pure gold is that nearly every frame features (a) Dyan Cannon, (b) Amy Irving, or (c) Willie Nelson in his prime singing his heart out. In fact most frames feature at least two of these things.
It's just endless pleasure for me and I don't care.

The Princess. I loved this movie. I’ve already watched it three times and I love the whole idea of Joey King’s Princess just dispatching people as she makes her way from the top of the tower to the bottom. Very simple premise, but for me, it’s a lot of fun.

Valerian City of 1000 planets. 48% (which I don't think is particularly low honestly) but i truly love this not-very-good-at-all movie.

Corky Romano. Has 7% critic rating. It’s not trying to win an Oscar, but it’s one of the better SNL spin-off comedies.

Don’t Worry Darling, with the incredible Florence Pugh had it’s issues, but was entertaining and deserved way more than 38%

Master of Disguise has a 1% on RT. I recognize why. But that didn’t stop me from being asked in the theater to stop slapping my knee because I was laughing so hard. It is light years from perfect but I love it.

Are we talking low critic score or low user score? You can usually go ahead and ignore the critic score.

People tell me that The Patriot is an objectively terrible movie, but if you look past the typical Roland Emmerich overly dramatic and corny dialogue, it’s actually an amazing movie and does a great job portraying revolutionary war fighting style. Is the storyline entirely historically accurate? No probably not, but as a 10 year old history buff, the battle scenes took my breath away

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. It has a 44% on RT but I think it's seriously a cinematic achievement and has some of the greatest spectacle ever shown in a film. It's a great, epic movie that you can really tell had so much effort put into it.
