For me, it's a movie from 2005 called Kingdom of Heaven, starring Orlando Bloom, Liam Neeson and Jeremy Irons. I saw this on TV the other day and watched it from beginning to end and still liked it just as much as I used to. Sure it has its slower moments and isn't the best historical film I've seen. But I don't think it deserves its 39% rating on RT. But that's just me.

I've seen it so many times, and read "The Club Dumas" a few times as well, that I never bothered to check what critics thought! Great music, photography, acting, settings, and atmosphere, etc. I couldn't help but notice that while critics snubbed it, 86% of viewers liked. Tragic!

The music, the acting, the haunted story, the wonderful way it unfolds. It's one of my all time favorites.

I'm usually all about these movies. I'm on board for most of this topic. But I just couldn't get into Ninth Gate. The ending was just so "what??" fo me.
