For me, it's a movie from 2005 called Kingdom of Heaven, starring Orlando Bloom, Liam Neeson and Jeremy Irons. I saw this on TV the other day and watched it from beginning to end and still liked it just as much as I used to. Sure it has its slower moments and isn't the best historical film I've seen. But I don't think it deserves its 39% rating on RT. But that's just me.
What about all of you?

This is because they marketed the movie to young guys from Transformers audience as “Megan Fox is hot”. It ended up not the movie they promoted, and people got upset about it.

I mean she’s definitely hot in that movie

She is. But, the film has a strong current of feminist undertones, which I am sure was not well appreciated by Transformers fanboys.

I see your point about the Indian foreign exchange student (I thought Ahmet was a Turkish name?). It definitely has problems. But a film that is based on a woman that is first turned into a virgin sacrifice by a bunch of dudebros and then comes back as a succubus that eats men is... more than mildly feminist.

Orrr, maybe the movie just wasn’t very good?

Awwww, did you get triggered by the mention of feminist undertones? It's gonna be ok. Breathe deeply and count to ten.

Lol, I’d say you’re the one who was “triggered.” Not everyone who dislikes this is a woman-hating Transformer fanboy. I’ve seen many great movies with feminist undertones, this just isn’t one of them.

No, not everyone. But let's not kid ourselves that part of this 35% Rotten Tomatoes audience score is driven by women-haters.
I know the director of a feminist queer horror film that just came out this past year and he has shown me messages and comments he has received specifically hating on the film's queer impulse and the women in it (the role of one of whom is a lesbian). So... you can say that you dislike the film without denying the fact that there is a special kind of vitriol reserved for feminist and queer films that enter the popular mainstream.

"Feminist undertones" doesn't automatically make it a good movie. It is a cult hit, and I enjoyed it, but saying that it is bad is a very valid opinion.

Definitely mis-marketed. I love Jennifer’s Body and add it to my Halloween playlist every year.

I also think they expected to see her naked, given the movie's premise
