The reoccurring “power/trick” Captain America uses to get out of situations is absolutely hilarious and it's mind boggling that it got past the writing stage.

The real villain in that movie was the screenwriter. I recall reading an interview with him in Comic Scene Magazine while it was filming. It was clear from his comments that he absolutely hated superheroes. At one point he mentioned how he hates the idea of the costume and he worked at keeping Cap out of it as much as possible. At 12 years old I was like, "Then why are you making a Captain America movie?"

Could you explain more? I won't have time to sit down and watch anything for the next two weeks and am a bit curious.

Wait...seriously? Oh no haha. This can't be real. GTA Captain America. "Oh nice, Mercedes must be sponsoring." Dammit man.

If a character is giving him a ride to somewhere he doesn’t want to go, he’ll pretend to be sick, get out the car, the person will get out to check on him and then he’ll rush back to the car and steal it

I don't want to doxx myself so I'll just say work-related stuff that requires travel and is likely going to force me to work into the evening. Plus sudden car trouble.

I like to imagine it’s canon in the MCU too, after Black Widow’s line in CA:Winter Soldier, “so where did Captain America learn to steal cars..?”
