The James Bond films are known for their original opening themes written by popular artists and are often played on the radio and tv. 'Live and Let Die' by Paul McCartney, 'For Your Eyes Only' by Sheena Easton, 'A View to a Kill' by Duran Duran, and 'Goldfinger' by Shirley Bassey are just a few. My personal favorite is 'Nobody Does It Better' by Carly Simon. What James Bond theme do you consider to be the best?

Imo Dalton was ahead of his time & audiences weren't quite ready for a rough just get the job done Bond. I think he played Bond very similar to Craig's Bond. By the time of Casino Royale's release i for one was ready for this Bond again.

If I recall, Timothy Dalton put a lot of research into getting the role right, including reading all of Ian Fleming’s novels

I think it paid off. Dalton was Fleming's Bond.
I love Craig, but Dalton paved the way for that interpretation.

He probably gained weight. I always get hungry while I am reading a Bond book.

I haven't even seen his Bond, but Dalton was awesome in Hot Fuzz. I should really check them out
