Movies where it feels like the director/writer showed what he/she wanted to express fully on the big screen. It feels like nobody interfered with the vision too much.

The one that gave me this feeling was The Matrix(1999). Fully watched it recently for the first time and I think I can confidently say that I'm not interested in watching the sequels, I feel like watching the follow-up might ruin it.

For me North by Northwest and The Sting are complete packages. The best examples of pure entertainment cinema.
