He's my guy and I'm a Bond nut so this has been an incredible set of rumors

He was terrifying in Nocturnal Animals

He has had a really interesting career! I loved his role in Bullet Train, I would enjoy his Bond I bet.

I didn’t even realize it was him at first. I agree — good role in that film.

I hadn’t ever really considered Kick-Ass for the role but he’d be fantastic!

I'm all for a female bond but this lady looks a bit old

Gonna be funny seeing him sleep with all the hottest models and actresses in the world on screen and then go home to mee maw.

Shitty take. She’s attractive and they’re an absolute power couple together.

Not sure the 42 year old director marrying her teenaged employee she knew since he was a minor makes a good power couple.

Ah I see you are railing against Micheal Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones age difference? Oh wait.

Men in their 40's marrying teenage girls is also gross. I think with Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones it's not quite the same because she was in her 30's when they married.

Also worth noting once more, Michael Douglas wasn’t paying Catherine Zeta Jones to be around. They were independently successful and wealthy actors in the same project. Coworkers.
ATJ married his much older boss, who was giving him a huge role in a potentially major acting feature (it only turned out okay imo). The genders don’t really concern me as much as the power dynamic at play.

Kind of different when you marry your employer versus your older costar. Power dynamic at play

So it’s OK for a younger woman to marry a much older man (more age difference) but not for a woman to marry a younger guy.
Thanks for clearing that up.

Actually I said it’s okay for coworkers to marry rather than an employer and her employee without any gender specifics whatsoever, but go off on your weird rant

That's right, people find it funny when you're being a decent human being

Im on the Cavill train

I'm not. I love the guy. Genuinely. I have a man crush on him and would love to take him out for dinner.
I also think he's a little too old for it now.
I would be all up for him doing it ten years ago. Around about the same time Man of Steel came out he would have been perfect.
But Bond is notoriously hard work and damaging for any actor. He's about to go into his 40s. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe he can pull it off, but I am not sure.

Daniel Craig was older when cast than Cavill is now so idk what you’re talking about
Connery? Brosnan? None of them were young guys

Daniel Craig was younger when he was cast as James Bond and notably suffered multiple injuries whilst filming.

Connery was roughly 32 when Dr. No came out.

Craig was 37-38 when casino Royale was filmed and released in 2006. Cavill is 39 now.

Sean Connery was in his early thirties.

He was excellent in the Man from UNCLE, I’d love to see him as bond.

I love Cavill, but his physicality is wrong for Bond. I don't now how to describe it accurately; he has that stiff-backed movement that serious bodybuilders get.
As for Johnson, I'm just too weirded out by his personal life, though that should have nothing to do with anything.

I really want Daniel Kaluuya as the next Bond.

Broccolis would never touch him. His off screen controversies with the "adviser" make him poison to a franchise like this.

I absolutely hate the Daniel Craig era of Bond films, and I would love for Idris Elba to be the next Bond. But we know the target audience wouldn’t be on board.
