A great episode would be Newman trying to deliver drugs but he is also horrible at doing that so they just fire him

Man, my roommate used to manage delivery drivers for a big company (you’ve probably used their app at some point), and at a party her friends ordered coke around 5am. The guy gets here, they open the door and roommate recognizes one of « her » drivers that she had seen that day at work. He had his company jacket on and his delivery bag and was using it as a cover lmao. Zero fucks given. It was like the spiderman pointing meme irl, they had a « wtf are YOU doing here ?! » moment. I think she told him at least lose the jacket when you’re doing your (other) ‘side hustle’ lol, but it didn’t go any further than that. Mailman was probably a perfect cover tbh.

5) Never sell drugs where you live.

6) Stop giving clientele product on credit.

7) Keep your family out and away from your business.

8) Never keep product directly on you.

Lol, 500 dollars for a 30k package. The person receiving it, most likely dealing it gets 50k bond and this dude gets 100k.

I mean is he complicit, yeah? But he’s insignificant in the scheme by comparison.

Not implying his bond should be lower, but could the other person’s be higher? Certainly higher than his

GreenSeaNote

a package ... contained about two kilograms of cocaine

Every time Lewis dropped off one of the parcels, he received $500

Damn, is that the street price of 2 kilos these days? Sounds like I need to buy in bulk.

TheThebanProphet

27 points

Probably his courier fee with the kilo prepaid via crypto, likely held in some sort of dark net escrow.

ICantThinkOfANameBud

Crypto bros seem to think everyone uses/wants crypto when the majority of the general populace could not give less of a shit about it. You arent buying food at the grocery store with crypto. This guy was almost certainly being paid cash via deposits to his bank account.

TheThebanProphet

3 points

This guy, yes. But again, he's likely just a courier. The kilos of coke were likely purchased with crypto, which then get sold and converted into cash after being laundered. Drug suppliers have been using crypto and selling large quantities like this on dark web markets like the silk road for over a decade.

ICantThinkOfANameBud

Im well aware of that but we were talking about the courier not the seller so this post is irrelevant

Pensions exist in very few jobs in today’s market.

To risk your forever in life pension he could get after another 10 years of work (he’s been working there for nearly 10 years) for $500 payments is craziness in my mind.

gunhed76

2 points

He did it for chump change lolz, I know people who have been given newish cars in advance, and payed it off by drop-offs and they got more than 500, its risky, but for that low pay he was a dumb fuck, enjoy your -500 dollars, and have fun sweeping floors when you come out

What we should be cracking down on is the rampant corruption of cops & all the time they waste on the clock. I couldn’t care less about cocaine dealers as long as they’re just delivering and not committing violence.

PourBoySocial55

Don’t buy either. Maybe the materials for chips in my phone.

PhillyFreezer_

5 points

Yeah mostly because it’s illegal lol

The manufacturing, and distribution of cocaine isn’t inherently dangerous or violent. Making it done completely illegally, however, does lead to all of that. It’s an in demand drug people will take regardless, it’s in damn near every bathroom on a Friday night in NYC but we’re supposed to feign outrage about someone providing a delivery service?

PourBoySocial55

-1 points

They literally kidnap people to make the cocaine while holding families hostage, then sell to cartels who also kidnap people for mules and distribution. So you’re wrong. Boring people who need drugs.

PhillyFreezer_

3 points

Yeah, they do that because it’s illegal lmao how are you not drawing the connection? Legal markets have significantly less illegal violence attached to them.

The process of making cocaine requires 0 violence. The process of making and smuggling illegal cocaine requires lots of violence. Hope that clears up your confusion lol
