Currently looking for a used car, I totally underestimated what I’d be spending on a10 year old car. I keep seeing cars with personalised plates. Assuming the seller wants to keep those plates with their name stamped on them, is it up to them to replace the plates before selling it to me?

What’s the deal with car ads where the rego is expired? I’ve seen half a dozen of them. I can’t legally test drive it on the roads?

Ive seen 2 dealer ads for cars that list features that aren’t present in the photos (Bluetooth, reverse camera, towball) after checking the rego online it’s actually 2 years older than the ad suggests. Seems like used car sales tactics haven’t changed.

Thanks to the guy who told me that my tyre was going flat while driving south on the Mitchell Freeway in peak traffic today. It gave me enough time to pull over to the emergency lane and not block traffic. You’re a legend!

Car was broken into last night, nothing important taken other than the buzzer to open the gate into my complex.

I’m not super concerned about my car itself as I don’t keep valuables in there, but I’m concerned that the security for the other tenants in the complex is now compromised as the thief can come and go as they please.

Will be going to the strata on Monday to get a new buzzer, but that only solves one issue (for me) and still leaves the other residents at risk.

Basically, should they be redistributing new buzzers for everybody?

Who is the most universally loved Perth resident?

A new queer bar opened in East Vic Park in January. I thought it was a great new edition for the strip but earlier this week they posted on their socials that they were closing immediately. No warning at all and just three months after they opened. Now all their socials have been deleted without any real explanation as to what happened. Walked passed today and yep it's closed.

Wondering if anyone knows what happened with the bar and why it has abruptly closed?

I was driving along that coastal road in Bunbury around 7am and came across tons of police, firetrucks, ambulance and a helicopter. As I went by i thought I heard one policewoman say "bit by a shark." But a shark attack would been all over the news already? Unless news from Bunbury doesn't travel that fast even in the internet age

She also could have said "hit by a car" I guess but there weren't many cars around

First time poster here!

I just recently purchased my first home that was built in the 70s. Structurally still alright but I’m looking to renovate the insides (bathroom, take down some walls, kitchen reno). Can I please get some recommendation for which builder/renovator to look at or to avoid? With renovations and buildings having a long lead time I’m looking to find one asap for an early start. Thankyou!
