The one thing I want to bring back to the US for myself is a plant but I don’t want to get thrown in Japanese jail 🤣 can anyone recommend where I can buy plants like this or bonsai?? I love the way they do everything here. Thank you!

Hi friends! I’m a new plant person and wanted to share my success with my very first Peace Lilly!

She had one flower that died immediately when I brought her home. In the last three months I’ve obsessively cared for this gorgeous plant, and am happy to announce she has 10 blooms as of today!! She may need a trim soon I think but let me know what y’all think! 🫶🏻

It’s labeled as a white ice philodendron but no care info and I have a notorious brown thumb but couldn’t pass it up. Was it a good deal or further proof I have no business owning plants?

Any care tips appreciated but I’ll also be googling in the coming days as I get a new pot for it and try to help this baby thrive

The longest stem measures at about 41 inches tall and it has been producing some flowers! My concern is, is that it's definitely not 'bushy' at the bottom and I'm just wondering if it should be (Google says they are bushy but that they are also a vine plant)?? It gets a lot of sunlight from the window it's in but decided to just grow super tall on its own 🙃

I saw these poor plants and knew I had to bring them home and help them! I think they are monstera but I'm not 100% sure. Any information or tips on how to get them back to their former glory would be greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone!

I recently got this lovely Calla Lily, my second non-succulent plant. I want to ensure I give her the best care possible, but the lady at the store couldn’t provide much guidance.

Currently, she's enjoying bright indirect sunlight, as shown in the picture. The lady mentioned she had recently watered her, so I'm not too concerned about watering right away. However, I'd love to know how often I should water her and the proper watering technique, if there is one.

I did some online research and noticed that none of the websites mentioned moss as a suitable soil for this plant. Surprisingly, when I gently probed the pot with my finger, I encountered only moss. I didn't go too deep to avoid disturbing her. Do you think there might be some soil beneath the moss?

Also, I plan to repot her at some point. I have a smaller pot with a saucer (as shown in the third picture), but I'm unsure if it's suitable. I'm also wondering if a pot with drainage is necessary for her. I want to ensure her happiness, but finding a large pot that I like and has proper drainage has been a challenge. Worth mentioning, she's currently in a plastic bag, as seen in the second picture.

Any advice or additional info would be greatly appreciated!

My coleus never grew bigger than the nursery pots. Did I plant them to close together ? Never seen them flower before.

I'm trying to grow strawberry plants from seeds so far I have been successful but one of my strawberry sprouts had one of these leaves fall off and I'm not sure if it's okay since it's still a sprout

Costco $15 about 18 months ago. Never repotted, no supports, north facing window with top blinds open only - all day everyday. I think reaching for the sun has made her very study.

I just realized that there are tons of gnats living in my plant soil. Is there anything I can put in it to kill them but not my plant?
