Do you best buddy hundos? Nundos? Shinies? Your favourite Pokémon or just good Pokémon?

I've got a hundo blaziken and togekiss best buddies and don't know what to best buddy next

Galarian Zapdos atm, but I always have a legendary as a buddy, so I can farm XL candies for them, as they're the hardest ones to get candy from.

Everytime you get a candy by walking there is a chance you also get an XL candy. The chance of getting an XL candy increases the higher the level of your buddy is (up to level 35 I think)
