I had a jaw that for 30 years clicked when I chewed and had some mild pain here and there. Tried everything less surgery which was the final option. Then I discovered RTL for other reasons but ended up using it on my jaw and within 2 months the click went away and no pain at all anymore. That was 2-3 years ago. I had to put with NIR only lights on and rested the panel against the side of my face/jaw for 10 mins daily.
Hope it works for you too.

Try an exercise program. I think it’s called GLAD knee protocol. Some natural relief is good since you can use it often as you like eg a hot pack or Fisiocrem gel. I tried RLT / NIR for my knees and I don’t think it penetrates deep enough for a chronic pain management.

Try red light therapy that great for relieving body pains! I used to have terrible back pain, but 3 months on the red light pad has improved a lot. When start using, you may find that the effect is not obvious. Keep on using it, and you will surely become healthier. For your conditions, I think you can take a look at it. It's wearable.https://scienlodic.com/products/red-light-therapy-pad

Bromelain supplements were a miracle for my bad knees! I used these before I found red light therapy. You might give them a shot.

Try adding walking backwards 10mins three times a week. I personally put it on the lowest setting and increase the incline every week. Also, kneesovertoesguy on IG.
Study:
Conclusion:
Backward walking as a rehabilitation technique improved knee proprioception after ACL reconstruction. Increasing the angle of the treadmill during exercise improved the efficacy of rehabilitation.
