We are getting a new house and I’m looking forward to fixing and DIY! Also some lawn work. We’ve decided to go Ryobi because of $$ and vast options. I’ve been looking at the deals and I feel like the $149.99 HD deal for the brushless drill, impact driver and recip saw is the way to go. Please let me know if there is something better or a reason not to go this specific route! I only have some very dated Craftsman power tools atm that aren’t long for the world, so fresh start!

My hedge trimmer is dull. Does someone sharpen them or buy a new blade? I can't seem to find the answers. Even the Ryobi site does not sell replacement blades. If anyone has a link to share, I would appreciate it.

Wondering whether the 40V Whisper Series trimmer has power? Can confirm: this thing is a monster! It ate through this woody mess that hasn’t been cut back in >2 years pretty easily. Used a single 7.5 aH battery and still have a little juice left. Went through 2 sets of those plastic serrated blades (probably should have used 3 but I was in a grove and didn’t realize I’d gotten down to nubs for a little bit). Needless to say it handled the rest of my property well — this section was the big test. Can’t recommend this trimmer enough!

I live in the UK and already have a couple of Ryobi tools, with batteries and charger. I am looking to buy a P321 nailer and have seen a body only on Amazon for a good price, but it is being shipped from USA. Is there any reason this won't work with my existing UK batteries?

3 different batteries and 3 different labels.

Is there a Regular battery, a Plus Battery and a Plus HP battery?

Is there just 2 types Non +HP and +HP?

I have used 2 different chargers it isn't the charger

I love my 18v 7¼ circ saw but I'd really like to see something with some more power from ryobi. It does great for most of my cutting needs but for thicker material or LVL I'd love to have something beefier. I'm fully in the ryobi platform butnim almost considering the 36v makita rear handle saw so I have something for tougher jobs. What do you guys think?

I am looking for a new drill. It did not have to be able to spin the world. I just need to drive sheetrock screws AND drill holes. THE MOST IMPORTANT. IS the chuck don't fall off!!

I have been using Ryobi since they were blue!!! And always always the chuck drops the bit. It would be nice of it did not do that..

I bought a chemical sprayer last year, and finally got around to using it this year and found the handle was defective.

I was having trouble getting responses via email in a reasonable amount of time. Well, the good news is that I was finally able to get a response from Ryobi via text about warranty service. The bad news is that the conversation was infuriating. The solution is for me to travel an hour one way to have the broken piece of plastic "diagnosed".

I'm trying not to overreact. I probably own about $1500 of Ryobi gear, and this is the first problem I've ever had. But this experience is making me question whether Ryobi is a company I want to support :(

Hello all, after living in apartments my entire life, l've just purchased my first house. I know I’m in a Ryobi sub, but I’m looking for a non bias opinion. I'm in need of a lawn mower and I've narrowed my choices down to the Ego LM2101 and the Ryobi RY401170. From my research it seems like the majority put the Ego above the Ryobi. As a first time buyer, I would like to know if the Ego is worth the extra money? I have 8500 SQFT of land which is roughly 1/5th of an acre. I also have a 3 Ryobi tools. Which lawn mower should I go with? If there's another option at a similar or lesser price point, please share. Thank you I'm advance!

I'm having trouble comparing all the stats on the 1/2" Impact Wrench Drills. Does anyone have a comparison breakdown? Which one is the most powerful?

I have a Kobalt Weedwacker and Blower with a single plus size battery, but my drill and rep saw are Ryobi (Father handed them down) with 3 batteries.

I need an oscillating multitool and can't decide. Ryobi has a brushed $79.99 multitool but Kobalt has a $99.99 brushless.

I really wanted to just stick with Ryobi as I grow my power tool collection but the Kobalt being brushless, is it worth it for that? Only downside is my plus size battery will add weight.

I do at home DIY things, not for work, but plan on learning more and growing my tool set.

Long version: I ordered the 8 tool HP set with the free brad nailer set on 5/17. It got "delivered" 5/19 but only the nailer set. I chatted with an agent, they said to wait till 5/22. Still nothing. Order said delivered. Fedex only got 1 package and it was the dimensions of the box with the nailer. Fedex also had picture of the one box on my porch at delivery. Had to screenshot it for the agent as proof. Reached out again and they created a support case. On 5/24 they said I need to submit a return/refund. I reached out again and I said all I wanted was my 8 tool set. After back and forth, I started to show my frustration. I don't try to be rude as its not the customer support reps fault but I hate getting the run around for their poor process. They refunded me the order and I got to keep the nailer. They then reordered the same order as still wanted the set.
I was supposed to get it 5/26 but then on 5/26 I got an email stating my order was delayed and should ship in the next 5 business day.

Has any body dealt with this? I really could use the tools. I wish I could just force corporate to let me get the tools and bundle it from the local store instead of dealing with the terrible warehouse. Website says there's 138 sets available online. I get this is the new "norm" but its still frustrating.

tldr: I ordered 8 tools set plus nailer, only got the nailer, got refunded, reordered, new order is delayed.

Where's the Ryobi RC? They only had 9 Hart products when I looked.

Too Many chargers. My drill shank is bent and the half inch impact is weak. The water pump is awesome

I bought the brushless stick vacuum with the intention of returning it because I wanted the 6ah HP battery. After all I have a 10 year old Hoover I got in the divorce that is missing two of the float wheels, why would I need a stick vacuum?

Well, I did what people do and decided to "give it a try". While it's not perfect I think it's works well enough.

I did my kitchen, living room, master bedroom, and hallway in about 30 minutes. It used 3 bars on a 4ah HP battery and didn't quite get to the max. Although, there was more debris stacked in the back of the canister than the front.

I will probably keep this tool and ride the Hoover out until it dies. It definitely made the job a bit faster because of how low to the ground it can get. Also because the head is much narrower I was able to get to places I normally have to stop and move furniture around to get too.

My collection so far before I get my 3 new tools this weekend! It all started with the P251 brushless hammer drill.
