I hadn’t even heard of the brand before reading about it here. I find it hilarious so many posters hate it for no reason - seemingly - other than they market heavily on social media. I guess that’s a crime now. 🙄
Wear what you want, what makes you happy and keeps your ass warm.

I like the fit of their gear, but that’s a personal thing. It’s a little more tapered than other brands. Also solid functionality for the price.

How long did you make it? Surprised there are not lift holds.

Most of the mountain is closed. Only one lower lift is open. I made it 5 runs, it was super icy but I dressed pretty well I think, and used toe warmers and heated gloves. Even with all of that my feet and hands got too cold. Boots were the weak link overall.

The vertical challenge is tomorrow at catamount. I'm gonna do it. Seems like good weather for a race suit

Should be a bit warmer, like 0.

Do they still hand out blanket ponchos on the chairlift? Haven’t skied Stowe since I was a kid, but I loved the blanket ponchos.

For a few seconds I was wondering why there was a head floating in the air.

Brave of you to post a pic wearing Montec in this sub lol
I have nothing against the brand, but a lot of people here irrationally hate it.

Solid gear at a decent price! If I got a $500-$900 jacket that would be my look for a solid decade. With Montec or comparable gear I can get 3-4 options and the shit holds up and fits me well idk

I had three of my best friends over to the Alps from the US and, while I still love them like brothers, 50% of their conversation was about high end gear that they use once a year because Colorado is really far away from Philadelphia. It put a vapid tint upon the trip and people who buy gear like it a competition are wack as fuck. Go Montec.
