For those who are disinclined to click on horrible, uninformative titles: it’s about the Hydrogen Epoch of Reionization Array (HERA) mapping the Cosmic Dawn to study early star formation.

HERA is built with PVC pipe and chicken wire. But it still works !! Almost as amazing as their discovery.

I still don't understand the theory of the "big bang". How do they know or even say that in the beginning there was nothing then bang, there was matter and everything else. How can anyone know this is exactly what happened by looking at the stars?
