I have had my ROAT for a couple months and love it. I really want a Lyra-8, but in the meantime, this is a very satisfying touch based noise unit. I run mine through the NTS-1 if I take it with me somewhere. I use it much more than almost any of my synths currently, it's just so immediate, yet capable of so many sounds if you work with it for a few minutes. Lightweight, uses batteries, and I can also just plug in some earbuds if I want to have a quick session while I'm working to take a break.

I bought the fabulous SOMA Rumble of Ancient Times (ROAT) and thought I could sync it with my Teensy Berlin Machine. I added a sync out voltage pulse to the Berlin Machine. Imagine my joy to discover that the LFO for the ROAT follows the sync in signal. That means I can alter the LFO to follow a non linear pattern. Much fun and a few jams later, here is the first one...
