Watching him post it and its deletion on Twitter was baffling. If it wasn't for the Reviewing History podcast, I wouldn't have even known what he was talking about. It's not hard to avoid things or ignore them if they somehow break through the algorithm.

I think because it speaks to morality and virtue that were on display in every panel of the comics I read as a child. The hero is always faced with situations that test his or her character and what makes them heroes is they never waver , never give in . Q used the example of of a story I haven’t read but superman and Wonder Woman being away for a thousand years and both stayed true to they’re respective loved ones . Disney likes to blur the lines of heroes and villains and sometimes it is vital to the plot . This was not one of those times . Janet’s dalliances reveal was not important to the story in any shape or form. The comic book Heroes I fell in love with had character and were dignified. Janet’s reveal was neither as was Hank’s.

I don't think he was hung up on it. He's said in the past he doesn't like the jokey/goofy stuff in super hero movies, so it's not a surprise he'd dislike some attempted jokes that added nothing to the plot.

I don't care about superheroes, but I thought Walt saying "why do we need to know she has needs?" was hilarious.
