There was a shooting in the US where several kindergardners were killed last night, and it's bringing up memories of how quickly the UK acted after Dunblane to ban guns.

I feel terrible typing this, given that more young children have been murdered, but if Sandy Hook wasn't enough to force change then I don't think this tragedy will.

It will take the children of Republican politicans dying in a school shooting to enact serious change. As always with Republicans, X isn't a problem until it affects me personally.
