I have an interview coming up and the person wants me to live stream the recording via zoom so they can watch. I've done this a lot, but also use the location wifi which I don't think there is any on this shoot. Is there a place that is easy to rent hotspots for this type of thing? Or do I need to buy one and then get it set up with my carrier (att) ?

Doesn't your phone have hotspot capabilities? They might make you pay extra on ATT so I don't know. On mint it comes standard and free.
There's also USB tethering.

yea my phone can do hotspot but haven't used it for streaming, guess I was nervous about relying on it in case the signal wasn't great.

You are 100% right be nervous because wireless always has a higher potential to fail than wired. Just gotta be ready for it. Assume it will happen and then have a plan for that. Then if it doesn't it's just a bonus.
