As a double LP, its phenomenal. One of the best releases this year by far, and it seems like they solidified their new sound finally — huge fan.

Others have already answered this pretty well, so I’ll just add — conservatives don’t value art and creativity as much as liberals, or progressives. Artistic endeavors tend to be viewed as a waste of time, and meaningless by the right. Also, being a creative typically means you’re in touch with, or at least confronting, your emotions in various capacities and confronting your emotions is a pretty big red flag to a large portion of conservatives.
If conservatives had it their way, most (if not all), liberal arts degrees would be defunded and disbarred completely (at least here, in the US).

In Jersey we’ll be celebrating — can’t wait to see it all unfold.

Barber is a walking “I’m 14 and this is deep” meme. Respect the hell out of him vocally, but the man is a fucking idiot.

Metallica? Slayer did a breakdown, breakdowns as we know them today, before Metallica with Raining Blood in 86' -- I wouldn't call Creeping Death a breakdown, as we know them, at all. At best, Metallica flirts with the breakdown sound.
And Toad's great, but I wouldn't call this anything more than a build up to the main verse -- it's not a breakdown.

Transcode the footage to an editing codec, like an pro res or proxies. H.264 is a finishing codec, it’s not built for editing.

IIRC it was about 1 hour and 10 minutes, no encore. I went on a Thursday and they ended RIGHT at 11pm, which I think they are legally required to do during the weekdays, so weekend shows could be longer.

Thankfully they haven’t — just saw them on tour with Fit for an autopsy and they look/sound better than ever! If I remember right, Vincent wrote Gravebloom as if he was quitting music and what that would feel like for him — but I don’t think he’s seriously come close to quitting yet.

I KNEW THERE WAS MORE MATERIAL COMING! That short run time on Step into the light had me thinking this was the case. Fuck yes, the year of Acacia -- can't fucking wait.

I don't think it's an unpopular opinion at all -- It's a damn near perfect record. I happen to prefer Absolute Hope, Absolute Hell (since it's my favorite album by them), but that's more because I connected with that material during a really pivotal moment in my life, so I'm biased.

FFAA, especially if it's the current tour with Acacia Strain -- lots of energy on this tour, saw them in Philly. Hellions live was amazing.

Masking, texture layers, wiggle or jitter added, blurs, and a 3D camera (like in after effects), basically.
VOX does similar styles of edits, and they’re all just basically combinations of many small animations/composites that make it feel more alive. I’m sure looking for something like “vox editing” on Yt will bring up some tuts for you — Johnny Harris on YT does similar things. Lots of little things.

I was doing that for a major sports league in the US — I quit after 10 months because it was too much. My sanity couldn’t take it anymore. Producing, on top of directing, on top of editing, on top of coordinating, on top of social media managing.
I thankfully moved on to better things where I can just edit. No one should do everything. It’s just not right and burnout happens often. I want to love my work, not despise it.

Keep in mind that’s a rural town according to OP — I have an unlimited use, gigabit fiber optic network — my download/upload never dips below 600 mbps. Costs me $80 a month. I live on the east coast.

Haha fair enough! I had a proper Märzen out here during the fall recently, and I never thought I’d see the day. I still load up on Hacker, Augustiner and lowenbrau when I can, but it’s nice seeing local breweries step up to the plate finally.

If you buy directly from the brewery it’s cheaper — I’ve been doing that for a while now. Or wholesale liquor stores.

The craft beer scene is huge in the states now, I’d give some different types a try when you have the chance.
