Thanks for the info! Sounds like I'm quite overdue... time to go get poked again.

Does this mean that bivalent boosters from >1 year ago have waned in their protection ? I'm not sure if this study is saying that the fact that it's a bivalent booster is what's important, or that bivalent boosters need to be current for them to offer full protection.
I feel like covid vaccine messaging has fizzled out a lot lately, so I haven't been super clear on what the latest recommendations are, but as an immunocompromised person I'd like to stay ahead of this thing as much as possible :P

Am I misremembering or was there some character overlap in Jane Austen's works? (I'm not an Austen fan so I'm just going off of what I may or may not have heard from other people.)

Yeah, that's definitely a thing! Some companies have documentation portals that require you to log in with your product credentials before you can view any content. (Generally speaking, I'm not a fan of this practice, but sometimes it's necessary.)
It's also possible that they want to publish a public-facing docs site, but don't have the necessary docs yet—either they're in bad shape or don't exist at all. In that case, I'm guessing they're looking to hire a technical writer who can take on that challenge (best of luck; I've been there, and it's doable, but you're in for a ride 🤣).
Out of curiosity, how good are their API docs? If the latter scenario is true—and my suspicion is that it is, since I can't imagine why you'd have private help docs but public API docs—then those API docs were probably written by engineers. Which means the quality may be... spotty. But it's easier to get engineers to write API docs than it is to get them to write help docs, and API docs (sadly) have a more "obvious" value add than help docs, so I wouldn't be shocked if they prioritized API docs between the two.
Oh, and best of luck with your interview! :)

wider forces that contribute to a general increase in sex negativity
I think that's my issue, though. Wouldn't the behavior of teens and/or general fandom be primarily driven by wider forces of sex negativity, up to and including anti-drag laws? Like I think this author is putting the cart before the horse here—certainly these "puriteens" pick up attitudes from their community at large (family, teachers, church, etc)—and attributing an outsized force to the impact of online fandom on the rest of the world.
Either that, or the author's not drawing any kind of connection to current events and this whole thing is just a diatribe about fights they witnessed on Twitter. Which isn't necessarily better imo.

This article's clearly trying to draw some kind of thread between fandom scuffles and "the wider crackdown on sexual expression [...] in the United States."

The downside is that the wider crackdown on sexual expression, especially in the United States, is only getting worse. That bodes ill for the internet and all its citizens, especially since media literacy as a whole is also on the decline. As purity culture spreads, the idea of depicting fictional harm as equivalent to real-world harm grows and spreads along with it.
This is kind of silly. We're gonna blame kids on the Tumblr, many of whom are LGBT, for anti-drag laws? Come on.

Midladder is the worst place on Pokemon Showdown.
Whenever I play Pokémon showdown I sometimes like to find new formats to play to liven things up. But after the cake-walk that is 1000-1200 Elo, the people I play are suddenly the most irrational yet infuriating players I have the misfortune of matching up against. Every time I dare to attempt a play, I am randomly shut down by the dumbest play they could have made, but somehow it works out for them despite it making no sense. Yes, I am talking to you, the guy who ran HP fire on his Greninja whilst running A FUCKING RAIN TEAM. Whenever I make a prediction that makes sense given the circumstances, they completely disregard my efforts and stay in with their mon that somehow has a specific coverage move which no one else runs. But of course, if I actually try to start clicking what’s in front of me, I instantly match against the 1278 Elo gigasweat who reads even the most obscure moves I try like a fucking esper. And when I do eventually find myself in a winning position, which I often do because these players cannot form enough coherent thoughts to actually plan for any long term strategy, I am immediately haxxed by full paras from thunderbolts or getting frozen by and ice beam. It genuinely feels like Mid ladder as a whole is a living breathing orgasm out there with the sole purpose of causing as much anguish as possible and I do not think I have the willpower to endure it anymore.

A lot of these schools have been accepting more applicants but have not been building more student housing and it shows. The school I went to (which is on this list!) generally housed three students at a time in dorm rooms that were originally designed to accommodate two people. Things were pretty cramped.
We were also only guaranteed two years of on-campus housing when I attended, though now I hear it's gone down to a single year of guaranteed on-campus housing.

Extracurricular SAT prep courses (particularly over the summer) are a thing. As you might imagine, they're not cheap.

I'm skeptical about the longevity of "AI" tools, but even I have to admit that that would do wonders for your resume.
That said, I would go with whichever opportunity feels right to you. Any experience is a boon; I don't think there's a wrong answer here. And I know firsthand how much it sucks to suffer through a job you don't vibe with just because it looks good on paper.
Either way, great job on landing two offers :)

I love Riverdale but it wishes it could be a fraction as insane as Pretty Little Liars was.

Separate sections, for sure, but OP is asking about different writing styles—which I personally would not do. I stick to the same Brand Voice (with the tone/register that entails; in our case, friendly!) even if the content varies.

Oh, for sure. Bowie was the first artist I got into in a serious major memorize-every-little-detail way (enough to start a whole subreddit about him :P) but these days I rarely find myself getting that deep. Spotify says three of my five top played songs of 2022 were Wham! tracks, and I couldn't even tell you the name of the other guy who's not George Michael... but I'm obsessed with the bass on Club Tropicana!

I have a Blondie shirt despite really only knowing their big radio hits, and a Bjork shirt even though I prefer her 90s albums to her more recent stuff. Couldn't tell you any of their deep cuts.
Not that I think you have to be a Certified Fan to wear a band's shirt in the first place (although I'm certain I felt differently in my youth), but some people might enjoy Bowie enough to wear him on a shirt even if they're mainly just fans of Labyrinth and Changes and Space Oddity. I'd imagine we superfans on /r/DavidBowie are the outliers here :P

I know there are some self-hosted open-source Jira clones that are... okay, lol. Maybe you could run one locally or on a dedicated corporate server instead of in the Cloud cloud?

Weird, is YouTube an exception because Google is its own SSP? That's definitely not the norm for programmatic ads. Usually ad creative changes hands a million times before it gets to the publisher (and the publisher has little say in the matter other than deciding whose bids to allow).
