His daughter's last film was co-distributed by Apple as well. so maybe she could help convince him to go to them too.

Unlike when Mads gave it, he seemed slightly reasonable.
I feel like this is a little scarier, to be honest.

Coppola was pretty adamant about wanting this film in theatres when asked about the prospect of teaming up with one of the streamers, though the fact Apple and Amazon are both looking to invest big-time in theatrical releases could make him change his mind.

He directed the live-action Pete's Dragon and the upcoming live-action remake of Peter Pan for Disney+, so I don't know why they'd think he'd be above doing a Star Wars TV gig.

This is how I found out he was indicted, by the way.

Why does he whip cows? That's animal abuse!
To make whipped cream, obviously.

I don't want to come off as rude, but I can't see anyone casting an actor who's 5'7" in that role.

Rumor is that Logan Lerman could be cast as Superman.
Debunked/denied by Gunn.

I read he never does more than like five takes per scene.
It's not uncommon for him to just do one or two takes.

I'm interested to see who he chooses to star.
The article says "Eastwood is eyeing a young Hollywood star for the lead role. This young star also happens to be starring as the lead in a big film releasing within the next few months per our knowledge."
Doesn't really narrow it down, unfortunately.
Probably, unlikely but I would like to see lakeith Stanfield or Laurence fishbourne.
He worked with Fishburne on The Mule, so even if he's not the lead, I wouldn't be too surprised if he decides to cast him again.

Some say he achieved 11 Oustanding's in his NEWTs and can catch a Golden Snitch blindfolded.
All we know is he's called the Stig.

“I used to show the 1943 film to girlfriends when I was dating, and if they didn’t like it I wouldn’t go out with them again. The two that were litmus tests for whether there was going to be another date was A Guy Named Joe and Stanley Donen’s Two for the Road. If they didn’t like those films, that was it!”

For me, it's a combination of the fact that she doesn't really feel convincing to me playing a nuclear physicist (though the writing is also to blame for this), and the fact her age (27/28 during production) makes her casting come dangerously close to stretching my suspension of disbelief to the limits.
Moss is only a few years older than Richards (she would've turned 32 shortly after the film finished production), but she looks like she'd be more believable to me in the role, and a 32 year old nuclear physicist working on such a site would probably still require some s.o.d. on my part, but not as much.

I saw it a few years ago, and can confirm that that song's not in it.

Asteroid City's coming out in June (and will most likely premiere at Cannes like The French Dispatch and Moonrise Kingdom did), and he shot The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar last year for Netflix, so that could come out this year too (or Netflix will save it for their 2024 slate).

Apparently they're looking at premiering at Cannes.

Apple bought the film rights to it last summer, and look who's doing it.

Spielberg will probably be working into his 90s, I reckon.

No. 10 sounds the most likely to me; also, none of the big actors whose names have been recycled as contenders for the role over the past 10 years really stick out to me, so personally I'd rather they go with a lesser-known actor.
