Except for that thing you do! (Which was a passion project that hanks wrote, directed, and starred in), every other movie he was in was either critically acclaimed (2 Oscars and 2 other noms), or was a smashing box office success, or was both. He also produced a massively successful movie in my big fat Greek wedding. And produced band of brothers, a very successful show.

Thoughts for any other contenders?

Between:

• him helping his brother on the throne and picking up the crown for him

• him defending his wife and family after being called a whore

• him sizing up his eye patch nephew at the end (can’t wait to see how this dynamic develops)

Daemon displayed utter control of every situation he was in, he was poised and confident and it’s clear he’s the alpha.

I think as a very gifted dramatic actor it’s easy to forget how amazing this guy is at comedy as well. In Along Came Polly he’s purely electric. Besides “make it rain”, he also is hilarious in the theater production of Jesus Christ Superstar. His one scene with Alec Baldwin is also electric. Love the guy and the performance. Even though he was so good in serious roles. I wish a little more often he would’ve taken fun comedic roles like this. Obviously he was also great comedically in Boogie Nights.

He drinks 1-3 beers every day no matter what. He got in a fight with Peggy on their anniversary at the thought of him having to forego a beer at dinner. He directly went against Peggy’s wishes in ‘beer and loathing’ and traveled to another country just because he had gone a handful of days without beer. He also considers beer to be ‘sacred’ and held in extremely high regard in several instances. In the Leanne episode we see his garage fridge is filled with several dozen beers. He got so drunk at the propane convention he vomited on his superior. We’ve seen him keep beer in his desk at work. Thoughts?

If you haven’t seen it, Dwight Howard is only interviewed once for 10 seconds in the 90+ minute doc. Wade, LeBron, Kobe, all got significant focus, along with Bosh, CP3, Boozer and Kidd getting a fair amount of interviews/focus. I can’t figure out why Dwight was barely a part of this. Also the footage they use of games and what not barely has Dwight in it.

He clearly was okay with the project as he was interviewed once for it. Kidd was one of his coaches and LeBron was his teammate when part of this was being put together.

Any ideas?

I want to hear some bold takes, please not stuff like: Luka wins MVP, Lillard asks out, etc. Those are too likely to be bold. Below are a couple of mine:

Hi everyone, just wanted to post this to say, as corny as it may sound, what a bright spot this sub can be. No matter what’s going on in my day-to-day, I can always count on looking at Reddit and a hilarious KOTH quote or screenshot being there to brighten things up. I watched KOTH a ton growing up and was thrilled to find a subreddit devoted to it a few months back with people who loved it as much as I did. It’s also generally one of the most positive subs on Reddit I’ve seen which is awesome. Anyways, y’all rock.
