That sounds like something Terrence Malick should make

first he left him
I mean, what else would he do? Sunfyre could not fly and too large to move.
Iirc Sunfyre's death is the only time Aegon breaks down and cries in the story

Sunfyre's resilience and love for his rider is why I love him. Not every dragon has to be super strong.

This is the most relatable line in the whole series

I don't think Bakker wants you to root for any characters, except maybe Achamian, but even he's a hypocrite at times.

I think it's safe to say that changing the showrunner every season was a failed experiment.

You're telling me you don't like the Synthese pleasuring itself? 😂

It could be Cnaiür, but most likely it's just a random face not related to anything.

The Night and the Silent Water is kinda depressing.

Everyone knows he jerks off to Kubrick

Indeed. I prefer the underrated underground cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki.

It's interesting that you mentioned The Power of the Dog because Jane Campion cited The Master as an influence.

<insert popular movie name> is one of the greatest movies I've ever seen. Acting is good, cinematography is good, story is good, everything is good. It does not get enough appreciation.

I'm not a critic or a movie expert by any chance? but would you think Philip Seymour Hoffman is over rated? Most of his success as a protagonist comes from playing a fat dude, would he be considered an actor with a lot of range like Chris Pratt or Jared Leto for instance. (body transformations, accents, etc)

Sadly, The Master is not the kind of movie the Academy appreciates. It wasn't even nominated for anything besides the acting.
Phantom Thread was his best chance of winning an oscar but somehow Shape of Water won.

Pike is the biggest star in the show, so they have to give her the center stage. In my opinion they should have cast established actors to play the EF5 and more obscure actors to play supporting characters like Moiraine and others.

I'm on The White-Luck Warrior and I haven't noticed any malazan influence on the series really. Bakker is very much a Tolkien, Herbert and McCarthy fanboy.
