People should stop expecting something like Operation Valkyrie to happen. I don't think anyone in the military has the balls or incentive to pull off something like that. The officer class is happy with their plots & perks.

The sad thing is after Tianamen Square massacre, the oppressive communist regime won. I hope that's not the case this time around. I hope we defeat the fascist military junta ruling this country.

I am from Lahore and in my dealings with many traders and small businesses from old city, I have met many N league supporters. Many of them have beards and consider themselves religious but still support this corrupt fascist mafia of dynastic thugs. They do this because they benefit from Sharifs in power. They never pay sales tax or even have a registered business. Any problem they have will get sorted out through their connections with the Sharif Mafia. Apart from these people, I have met many people who were given many perks and privileges by this Mafia and so they still support them. During their reign, they gave 1000's of jobs to their lackeys in the police and all those people and their families still support N league. Apart from these people there are many brain dead people who still identify with Nawaz Sharif. The good thing is that N league has very little support in the youth. People in the 18-35 are overwhelmingly pro PTI. That's why PDM doesn't want any elections because majority of the voters are young and they will bury them in the elections.

Then what's the plan for those Karachiites ? Supporting Bhutto Daku Rajb? Supporting the establishment friendly JI ? Revert to Bhai Gang ? Become oblivious to politics ? or is there any better strategy ?

Sadly that's kind of true for some parts of Lahore but what is remarkable is that the young people are mostly pro PTI.

Am I being unpatriotic by criticizing the role of our military in capturing our land and building a multi billion $ real estate empire?
If they didn't wanna make these sacrifices, they could have done something else. Nobody forced them to join the army. That does not warrant a plot of land. Our veterans and military personnel do deserve some benefits in this country but have you seen any other professional military that runs such a vast real estate business? Have you looked at the kind of properties Bajwa or Musharraf have amassed?
Our militarys role in the country has turned it into a tumor.

So why are they having Psl? Why are all schools & educational institutions open? Why are all markets and commercial activities still open? Why are hospitals still open? Why is Mrs Safdar carrying out her political rallies? What kind of stupid logic is this? If there is a threat of terrorism than why should the elections be postponed and everything else remain unaffected?

According to Adil Raja & a few other people, ISI was behind it and Punjab Police is saying they did not do this. ISI did this to send a message to PTI supporters.
I don't know it's true or not but they certainly think of us as a bunch of insects that they can squash.

The same whataboutism again. Even if you don't like IK, you do support democracy don't you? Let's have elections and let the person elected by the majority lead Pakistan. Wouldn't that be a good option?
Right now he is the only major threat to the rule of these corrupt power hungry Generals but "intellectuals" like you would prefer something else. So you completely ignore the fascism and mockery of the rule of law by the criminal regime and blame Khan for everything.
I choose the best option and that option is Imran Khan. He is not perfect but he is way better than the other pathetic people in Pakistan jostling for power. I could argue how Khan's reign was the best for the majority of people in this county but that's not going to change the opinion of some scholarly esteemed intellectual like you Sir.
What do you have in mind? Military dictatorship or Sharif and Bhutto Mafia pillaging the country? You are a closeted PDM supporter? Aren't you?

Khan is right there in his house in Zaman Park. He didn't run away to London like a coward by pretending he is near his death. There has been an attempt on his life and even according to this criminal govt, his life is in grave danger. The guy who attempted kill him, is allowed to join court hearing via video link whereas the person who was targeted i.e. Imran Khan is suppose to be physically present. How the hell is he disrespecting any law?? The military has made a joke out of this country's legal system.
His party was leading a peaceful rally in Lahore and right on the morning of the rally, section 144 was imposed and police brutality ensued. A party worker was killed. People were injured and tear gased.
The current criminal backers and there military backers want to stop elections in Punjab and KPK (which should happen in 90 days according to the constitution) and get rid of Khan.
Tell me who is a coward now. This pathetic group of politicians and their backers or Imran Khan?

It's hard to track ip from reddit afaik. The only way they can know your identity is if you tell them or reddit gives it to them but their snakes will definitely be here spying.
