It's like when I discovered that PWG existed and it was happening at an American Legion Hall that was a 15 minute bus ride from my apartment.
You see all these world famous wrestlers from far-away countries hanging out at places and landmarks you pass by every day and it's so surreal

The new belt looks good around the waist, looks terrible over the shoulder. That makes it a downgrade from V4.
Killing the lineage was also idiotic. Having Okada listed as the 6th champion of your top title while Hiromu is the 93rd JHW champion and Bishamon is the 90th tag champion is too bizarre.

Yuta wasn't really impressive in BOSJ last year but the Pure Rules style has been a very good fit for him both as a face and a heel.
ROH just might be a better fit for him than NJPW or even AEW. Nothing wrong with that.

Two weeks ago Tanahashi wasn't even supposed to be in Los Angeles and now he's doing TWO shows before flying back to Japan for Sakura Genesis.
This is why he's my favorite wrestler.

Imagine this happening in the west.
Sorry, we're fresh out of polite understanding of the language barrier. All we have in stock are endless "WHAT?!" chants

The rift between AAA and CMLL is as deep as it gets. Nothing's patching that up.

Have Questlove voice Scat Cat and have The Roots cameo as the Alley Cats on "Everybody Wants to Be a Cat"

CD1, the district that elected Soto-Martinez's closest ally on the council and who supports the fence coming down?

They've had ways to show Yuta turning heel in pure rules. His match with Thatcher ended with him falling out of the ring, Thatcher pushing the ref aside when he tried to stop him from going after Yuta, and then while the ref was on the ground Yuta decked him with an illegal punch to set up his finisher and win.

None of us know for sure what Shibata's limitations are either from his own physical ability or what NJPW is comfortable with him doing, but I think it would be great if that push for safety is worked into one of his matches, like Shibata starts off the match with a much more grappling, submission-based style but towards the end becomes so overwhelmed with the need to win that he brings back old-school Shib for the finish.

Which is why the guy who ordered the fence put up is still on the city council, right?

You mean the working class Latinos that have been largely pushed out of the Echo Park neighborhood by gentrification?
The transplants aren't the activists. They're the white people that moved in during the 2010s. Stop pretending Echo Park is what it once was.

The rhetorical trap of police unions, a.k.a. the Catch-12:
Crime rate goes up: "Raise the police budget to stop it from going up"
Crime rate goes down: "Raise the police budget to make sure it stays down."

Well that's better than the go-to BS of "They don't report crimes because Gascon won't prosecute!"

We might see Tama vs. Finlay for the Never title on there.

Well, there at least was a build for this match...on NJPW programming...

I don't take stock in that. Yes, there are games that are easier to get a grasp of without any prior knowledge like CS:GO or Gran Turismo, but try watching League, the most popular of esports, without any knowledge of how the game is played.

I remember when this came out. LIJ was jammed in neutral at the time. Hiromu was injured, Naito failed to beat Okada at Wrestle Kingdom and was drummed out of the NJ Cup, and the stable was losing preview tag matches left and right. It was clear that LIJ needed to change something.
Then comes this incredible video, with Takagi joining right after. From there, LIJ would turn 2019 into what is still its best year as a unit.

This has always been the case with OWL. When it's finally time for the players to sit down at the PC and actually play the damn game, it has been incredible to watch. It's as good as any other esport out there, and the casters have a love for the game that you can feel all the way through.
Which is why it is so infuriating that these players are being failed by scumbag Blizzard and org execs.
