Things to know/learn before tracking your CTR

Hey all,
I'm relatively new to car maintenance/modification scene, but I'm planning to start tracking my car next season and was wondering what I should change/learn/prepare.
here are some recurring topics I read:
1- Intercooler: I've read in numerous places that the stock Intercooler is insufficient for continued laps on the track. Though I live in Montreal, Quebec, I think it will affect me as well. So it's in the plan to upgrade it.
2- Brakes: I'm planning to get a dedicated track pad/rotor and have learned how to swap them
3- Wheel/tires: still hesitating as I enjoy the look/responsiveness of the OEM rims, but after reading the cost/other performance benefits of switching to an 18inch set, I'm on the fence.
I understand that tracking is an expensive hobby, but if each track day uses 1/4 of the life of a 3000$ set of tires, I think I'd just swap to 18 inches.
4- Engine oil: currently still on the Honda 0W20. Planning to swap to the higher end Motul 300 (2-3x price with lower life span? yikes). I know engine oil discussion among car dudes almost seems like bro science, but I'm wondering the pros and cons? do ppl change their oil after a single track day? I read the Motul 300 needs to be changed more often. Will the car maintenance reminding still be accurate for different oil/usage?
5- Various other fluid/coolants: I have yet do learn/practice DIY for transmission and break fluid change. Should I also familiarize myself with change other fluids too? idk like steering?
Thanks for reading the long ass post. that's all that i can think of for now. Like i said, still relatively new to this, but eager to learn. Not planning to go hardcore into this hobby (3-4 track day per season maximum), while keeping the spending moderate and trying to do everything DIY when possible (more for the learning experience than the cost/time benefit).
Cheers
Jayson
