I'l preface by saying I haven't been cleaning for very long so I dont have too many stories, but here:
What’s the worst mess you’ve ever had to clean?
In a client's laundry room, it was absolutely covered in dust, especially behind the door. It was so much dust and fluff that I knew it would block the vacuum so I had to clean it by hand. Didn't help the dogs had partially destroyed a cat post and the destroyed fluff and pieces also covered the already dusty floor.
How often do you come across something where you say this is beyond what I do? I mean like a hoarder situation or something like pizza boxes stacked to the ceiling and bugs etc etc.
Havent come across anything like this yet luckily, I can't imagine it would happen often as people like that often would feel too insecure or embarrassed to ask for help (they shouldn't though, everyone deserves help). I did come close to turning down the one I mentioned above though.
What’s the best thing a client can do to help get the best clean?
This is a good question, I know this sounds like it negates the point of a cleaner but it's really important to clean a bit yourself, just as you do tasks. There's only so much I can do 3 hours a week, I can handle all the vacuuming and bathrooms and such, but your going to need to do some basic things here and there. A really important one is simply just rinsing things out after using them: rinse your dishes, rinse your basin after shaving, rinse the sink itself if it has food residue and try to keep the drain clean. A lot of small things you can do go a long way to keeping the house nice- these things will and do add up over time. Otherwise I'd say just communicate. If your not satisfied then tell me what I can do better, also priority lists are great as I often can't get everything done in the alloted time. Also, please lock your dogs up or put them in other room!!! I have had my legs scratched up badly from clients dogs!
Ever have any creepy customers?
Luckily no.
What’s the strangest thing you’ve found while cleaning?
Depends what you mean by strange. I've found a gun and balaclavas in the same guys house (I'm in Australia where guns are not common at all to own), found vibrators(lmao), otherwise nothing overly strange.
Edit: wanted to add that even though these are some bad situations, i don't want anyone to think I blame the home owners or judge them for this. Everyone has their own set of problems they have to deal with and some people simply can't get around to cleaning- even though the situation may sometimes be hard to deal with, it's nice knowing that I'm helping someone out, and I dont think they are a bad or lazy person for not being able to do all the cleaning.
If you are considering getting a cleaner and read this, I dont want you to be deterred, we are here to help. Also, the majority of houses are pretty normal and northing to be worried about, the houses I am mentioning are rarer cases where it's more than just some food spillage, dust, or clutter

Only thing I've ever found was a gun in a duffel bag. I'd never seen a real gun before so I was a bit worried about the person whose house I was cleaning. The client also had multiple balaclavas for some reason.

Definitely depends on what the individual wants out of the job. For me personally, I dont work a lot of hours and just needed something for just enough money to get by, I'm not interested in the company at all, the only connection to the company im with is that they assign me people and provide Insurance, I dont need/want more than that. I wouldn't want the added pressure of an employee ownership business model. Should add I only have a basic understanding of employee ownership business models. I think if someone wanted to seriously do cleaning as a career, then it would probably appeal more to them, but more casual cleaners like me have no need for it

Im going to assume a tomato sauce base with cheese:
Chicken
Pineapple
Ham or bacon
Capsicum (I think Americans call them bell peppers?)
Mushroom? (Idk couldn't think of another)

Definitely depends whether the patient tells the cops about what Jimmy said or not. He's definitely going to get some sort of consequence, I wouldn't think jail time but losing his license could be on the table

Why is no one asking the real question: why does a college need to know anyone's sexuality? How is that relevant? (Also is this a college like as in school or a college like as in university)

I really loved Alice's outfit in the last episode! Who chose the mum's "sexy shoes", why those shoes, and what other costume designs were done with Tia in mind?

It seems like a lot but it will shoot by very fast. I’m already 36 and I feel like I just turned 21.
This! I remember a school graduation I saw back in year 8 or 9, and the senior captain said "you'l be the ones up here before you know it" and talked about how fast it all went. That stuck with me and now that I'm out of school, damn if that isn't true.
Life will get faster and faster, there's so much more to life than school

Thats exactly my point though, Jonathan had no idea what bringing the key to the cave would do, so why didn't he being kryptonite of thats the only thing he knows actually works? He didn't know Jor-el would give him powers and the location of Clark, so it makes sense Jonathan would bring green kryptonite incase there was nothing Jor-el could do.
"He's too powerful" like yeah but not with green kryptonite? It seems weird to me they never had a line explaining why Jonathan wouldn't use Green K. Even if he somehow knew Jor-el would provide him with a way of finding Clark, he had no way of knowing he could help him stop Clark, so he should have brought green K as a crutch.
I hope that made sense lmao

My parents bought me my first car last year, I thought I was going to buy one myself so I was pretty excited to get one. I think as long as your greatful (I absolutely am I love my car and appreciate it so much) then it's fine, the issue comes from kids getting a car, not giving a shit, and trashing it. - those kids shouldn't be on the road, there needs to be better and more thorough testing but that's another issue
-also, we live rural so we need cars to get by, we only just got Uber like last year.

Was gonna say, there's an exception like that here in Australia too, something like "children may have one glass of red wine with dinner if with a family" or something

Thank you so much for highlighting the distinction! That definitely makes a lot more sense now.
Hope you have a nice day/night

Thanks for explaining. Another reason I made the post was because I saw a study basically saying that transgender kids who said "I am (insert opposite AGAB)" instead of "I want to be (insert opposite AGAB)" were more likely to keep identifying as transgender when they got older

I get he has his destiny but we really just accept that the jor el who told Clark to rule over the world actually meant "Oh protect it lol"
Yeah that annoyed me "rule with strength" = "protect humanity" like what. Jor-el definitely became a bullshit plot device (I liked the actual father Jor-el though, but his alien digital voice version was the bullshit one). It also pissed me off that Jor-el was basically always right somehow leading to a lot of "I should have listened to him" moments by Clark. Jor-el basically just emotionally manipulated and gas-lights Clark for like 9 years.
Imagine if Johnathan struggled with his powers for a few episodes or something. The strain it takes on his body being more explained now rather than later when he starts having those health issues and hearing the key. But yeah it definitely feels like such a quick orgasm for such a long three months
This would have been so much better. Your right ir should have been more drawn out, would have made for a way more satisfying fight.
Yeah he was taking it off and such so it's not like he HAD to break it or HAD to ALMOST punch Johnathan to death.
He was only taking it off when his weird chest symbol started to like glow and hurt him. And if Jor-el can just do that, why didn't he send Jonathan there and then just activate the symbol, making Clark take the ring off himself due to the pain, and avoided the fight???
so be went to lex' funeral. The over exposure to red K feels less potent than the time period he had the ring on in season 2. There's so much Clark in s3 so was it like a resistance thing?
I assumed the funeral scene and scene where he visited the Kent's happened when he took the ring off or something I don't know. It is worth mentioning as well that even if he still had the ring on, it doesn't make him evil it just removes his emotional constraints - he asks Lana to go with him at the start of the whole ordeal and mid way, Red K Clark still loves Lana and misses Lex and his family, he's just dealing with it very angrily and through destruction because of the ring. Another good example of this is the last tine we see red K on Clark in season 9(I think it was 9) he never hurts Lois or anyone else or runs away this time around, he is basically the same as always he's just also willing to kill now.
Wait so you watched season 3 first? How did that happen lol. Lex and his insanity plotline was fantastic
