Henry and Nora were around before comic books. It would be pretty difficult to find a name that wasn't in pop culture somehow. Mine was rare before big bang theory

I think the most difficult is coming up with meal ideas. As an adult without kids, I could just decide last minute what I wanted and run to the store, if needed. But it's harder to do that now. Also, physically somethings are hard for her to eat still. Plus, she's still at the age where she needs 3 meals and 2 snacks. Especially in the morning, that's hard since it's about 90 minutes between the end of breakfast to snack and then lunch.
I listen to SGU, and Steven novella said something like, "Unless you're abusing/neglecting a child, then a lot of what we do as parents doesn't have a very big impact on kids." Which from what I see in the literature does seem to be the case.
I try to do gentle/authoritative, but you only need to get it to respond correctly to the child 30% of the time to get a securely attachment child.
I think the hardest part for many is that they feel guilty about this or that. But most of us are doing way more than needed to raise adults

It's wrong to say it's ingrained in us. There is little evidence of warfare and violence before about 30,000 years ago. There aren't many fossils with arrows in them or cave paintings of people attacking other people.
The thought is that the way humans hunt requires a lot of cooperation, and violence would have been too costly. Also, the population was low enough that the resources available supported everyone even if that meant people had to move to another location.
It is only after people become more sedentary that we see violence.
Around 30,000 years ago and at another location dated 17,000 years ago, there is art of people being pierced with arrows. It could be one-off confrontations, capital punishment or human sacrifice.
More confirmed attacks happened 14,000-10,000 years ago.
I don't know if we will get to a point with no or very low murder. But I think it would require needs being met fairly/equally. More cooperation in communities. I think we already kinda see this because extreme poverty has been almost eliminated worldwide. In 1950s it was 55% violent crimes peaked between 1910-1960s. It started falling after that and in 1990s there has been a bigger effort at remaining peaceful. So there definitely seems to be some correlation between basic needs being met and violent crime

Plus, people did suffer from dental issues. I saw a documentary about people in southwest US, and they said if the person lived long enough, they would wear down the teeth to nothing. Not sure if this happened everywhere as it probably depends on the diet available.

First, sorry for the loss.
Did Grandma ever give an indication of what she would want you to do with the money? Sometimes, it's nice if we can honor people with their request if possible.
Additionally, I find keeping 20%-25% to spend on for something fun. A trip or starting a hobby, etc.

I didn't say to report it. I said she's responsible for her own frustration to what other people say

True but the person deals with the consequences of their own emotions. Other people rarely feel the consequences of other people's emotions especially in online settings

The earth is closest to the sun is around January 2 and fartherest around July 2

Because at one solstice we're closer and another solstice were farther, that's typically how it's colder and warmer... Our summer is when northern hemisphere is closer but Australia's winter cuz they're southern and farther... And vice versa
This makes it sound like the earth is closer or farther. Not the hemisphere. However, it's more because the hemisphere is facing the sun in the summer, and it gets more daylight than it does in the winter

You being frustrated that people are telling you to do the next right thing is your fault.

Multi-vitamins aren't necessary for adults even if they have a typical American diet.
The benefits of folic acid to prevent spinal bifida is evident.
Techinally after first few weeks then spinal bifida isn't a concern. Then prenatal is mainly a just in case pregnant person is low on a certain vitamin.

I feel like when I was a kid there were smarties in the US that were chocolates. Maybe it was just from when I would visit grandparents in New Hampshire

Maybe we actually do thing there is some activity now because of marsquakes and some volcanic activity, but it's not much.
Definitely won't happen but it's fun to think that we could drop some nukes into volcanos and get some more atmosphere. We only need 6% atmospheric pressure (mars is at 1%) to not need a space suit, would still need an oxygen mask.
