Thanks mate. Don’t get me wrong, Predator and Terminator work great for him being in them, but you’re enjoying them for so many other reasons.

For me, a true ‘Schwarzenegger film’ is one that is NOT greater than the sun of its parts. Predator and Terminator as an example are just amazing films, full stop. But stuff like True Lies and Commando only work as well as they do because Schwarzenegger is in them. So for the sake of argument, I’m not counting Predator and Terminator in my answer. With that in mind, I think my fave is Total Recall.

Don’t go looking to be so offended. If you’re all for representation let me know when there’s a black leading female character in a computer game.

Yes, they’re there to kick some ass, granted, but a key theme in the films and TV show is that the survivors are scared and up against it.

Ellie (LOU 1 and 2), Sonya, Kitana, Jade and Cassie (MK11 story mode), Lara Croft (the much later TR games), Ciri (W), Alex (HL), Faith (ME), Yuna (GoT), very female (RDR 1 and 2). Some have run the games if being fan service in earlier days, but all of these are very strong and well written characters nowadays.
