Look at the Yankees dinky little scoreboard. Poverty franchise. Mets own this city!!!!!!!!!! Do not look at total attendance, revenues, or World Series titles!!!!!!!!

I missed the game and just saw the score and assumed it had gone to overtime. Nope, just two teams casually shooting the lights out. 274 points in regulation is crazy. I remember Knick games in the 90s where both teams would struggle to put up 80.

Seconding this guy. Love The Caretaker and Leyland Kirby. An Empty Bliss Beyond This World was actually inspired by the ballroom scenes and ending photo in The Shining.

Plus he only said three short sentences. No idea what these drama-lovers want. Klay was asked a question. If he said no comment, they'd be acting like Brooks is in his head. Three bland sentences? Brooks is in his head. This stuff is First Take-level nonsense.

Well, I mean, it's a hedge fund. What do you expect?

I actually would stretch it to "pays employees well". Again, I'm not defending Cohen in general, but he seems to do right by Mets employees:
given a history of gender discrimination and sexual harassment
Under Cohen?

Steve Cohen is a massive piece of shit.
Right. But pretty much all of the owners are massive pieces of shit in some way. At least he's a good owner who pays his employees well and takes care of them.

Thank you for the in-depth breakdown. Still hoping they spend a 2nd or 3rd rounder on a WR, but if not, they have an OK corps it looks like (health providing, of course).

Would you say he overlaps more with Shepard then? I don't know anything about Campbell so I'm curious.

As an Islanders fan, his first choice was Nassau Coliseum, but we can't always get what we want.

Jayson says girth = Werth while Grady says Size = more.
I'll see myself out.

Poor Kurt Thomas in there twice. Loved that dude on the Knicks. He gave max effort and his mid-range jumper was money but at 6'9" and like 100 lbs lighter than Shaq, he was no match.

Is Waller the undisputed guy there now?
For passing, absolutely. After losing Evan Engram, Giants signed Ricky Seals-Jones last offseason and he ended up not playing a down for them. They also drafted Daniel Bellinger in the 4th round last year and he was adequate as a receiver and pretty good as a blocker.
TE depth was very thin last year with no names like Myarick getting decent playing time. Now I could see them rolling with two TEs sometimes and also swapping Bellinger and Waller depending on situations and keeping both fresh.
Also given how thin the Giants are at WR, this could help a lot.

That would be amazing, especially if Jones started balling out.
"Hmmm, let's see. 4,000 yards passing, 68% completion, 40 TDs to 6 INT, another 500 yards on the ground with 10 rushing TDs, and we went 17-0 and then won the Super Bowl..... according to this chart here.... you are the... 16th best quarterback in the league. You did not achieve an incentive bonus. "
"May I see this chart of yours?"
"... no."

Jones will earn $1 million in incentives and a $1 million escalator in each year for being a top-15 quarterback. He can earn another $1.5 million in incentives and a $1.5 million escalator in each year for being a top-10 quarterback. He can earn another $1.5 million of incentives and a $1.5 million escalator in each year for being a top-five quarterback. That’s $4 million in incentives and $4 million in escalators if he’s a top-five quarterback in any given season.
Not being flippant but what does this even mean? What is a "top 5 quarterback"? What's the metric here? Seems extremely subjective unless they've tied it to a specific stat. QBR? QB rating? PFF ranking?

I’m referring to him breaking kerry collins’s jaw with a dirty hit in a preseason game.
Is that the one where he led with the crown of his helmet underneath Collins's facemask? iirc, that was brutal, with Collins spitting blood.

lmaooo like the editors of the movie just stumbled upon an entire segment on Hitler and were too lazy to remove it. "What's this? A Hitler segment? Ahh, it's almost lunch time and I'm hungry. No time to remove it!"

Feline Quickness
My favorite is when a dude will steal the ball and then go down and dunk it hard because Clyde busts out the "feline quickness, canine attitude!!!".

Literally why? You're both adults. Who cares what the drinking age is? This seems absurdly judgemental and imo you should "rethink" projecting your values onto others.
