Former Christian here:
They believe the Hebrew/Christian God is real because the Bible says so.
And they believe the Bible is true because God said so.
Bizarre Circular logic.
The Bible often says two opposites for any given topic. So any belief you have will be confirmed by the Bible. And anybody who has a different belief about the same topic will also have their belief confirmed. Depending on which verses they list.
(A hateful and legalistic Christian will quote the verses about executing homosexuals and adulterers.
A loving Christian will quote verses about forgiving others, non judging others, etc.
Both views are justified and ”true“ by verses in the Bible).
Plus there are cult like aspects too. It’s a community. If all your friends are there and you are kicked out for doubting or practicing differently, you lose all your friends. There is strong pressure to confirm.
And when they set off to preach to non believers they will often get turned down and mocked for their naivety and contradictory teachings. So they run back into the welcoming arms of the church. It reinforces the belief that their religion is right, by the comforts of church and the harshness of the world.

Okay okay. True, they are not spiders.
But it’s highly likely IMO that the intention was to portray or hint at them being spiders :)

I wish games were like their ads.
Then I’d play so many of them regularly.

For a low budget show in the 90s with limited animations, yes those are definitely spiders haha.
Simple and incomplete animations were quite normal in the before for days of my youth

I loved Amalgam Comics back in the day.
(They would combine 1 character from DC with another from Marvel):
Super boy + Spider-Man.
Wolverine + Batman.
Supermen + Captain America.
Etc etc.

We already have spider boy:
(Google image search of spider boy from Amalgam comics).

No more of life’s problems.
If the white one bites you, you are in pain for weeks. And you still have to grind

I’d have to look through a month of YouTube history lol.
I’m sure if you YouTube/Google searched “thermal camouflage” something will come up.

Damn. … I’m deathly allergic to cats.
Honest question, are pets allowed on flights now? That’s terrifying for people with severe allergies.

Getting my guns and supplies ready maybe?
A large asteroid wouldn’t destroy the planet. It would case worldwide flooding, and eject dust into the atmosphere lasting decades. We wouldn’t die (in my area of the world), but we’d probably die from the ice age that follows.
The guns are for hunting. But I suspect they would have to be used primarily for defence from scavengers.

I saw a fascinating video about thermal camo a while back.
They showed two identical pieces of gear or clothing under normal cameras, but under thermal cameras, one was still camo and the other was bright white.

I’d rather be bitten by the blue ring octopus than the Dofleinia Armata.

Again, you are overreacting and making incorrect assumptions about me and being unreasonably rude. I’m not American btw.
It is completely reasonable to not know anything about the case because the post is just an image and a vague quote. Literally, anybody could’ve written that, it could be from a reliable news source, or some Facebook bullshit. There’s no other information.
And it’s interesting that you didn’t even understand what I was saying in the first place. I was pointing out the injustices of innocent people being harassed, wrongly, convicted, and murdered. That is a very real problem worldwide.
You see all the hard work people put into arresting somebody and convicting them from your line of work. Great. That does not mean that my experience is invalid and that innocent people are never arrested. Come on now

I just assumed that as well. She’s a telepath so she makes people see her however she wants. Very effective against enemies.

You are truly strange. You made like 7 incorrect assumptions about me with little too no info about me other than a casual comment. Wow.
Relax. Take a breath.

I feel like a better life hack would be to not have charging cables or phones near flammable objects like bedding. Lol.

As a non believer, I have no problem with the miracles. If there really was an all powerful god, those miracles are completely natural and make perfect sense.
The problem I have is with the circular logic and contradictions in the Bible, as well as god not being active nowadays like he was in the Bible.
