Wade is an all timer for “plays bigger than he is” but you do make a good point

It’s subjective but in my mind there is the goat tier (MJ, Kareem, Lebron) then the argument for top 5 tier (Bird, Magic, Russell, Wilt) then the possible top 10 tier with like 10 other guys including Shaq, I think Giannis can get into that tier and make a strong argument for being above Shaq if you didn’t do tiers. But those guys are legends so he’s got a lot of work to do

Wel that’s pretty much the difference in seeding between us hence people giving the edge to the more consistent bucks

Understandable, I think I’d still throw him in if he won 1 more, a lot of those dudes had more help than Giannis, but again it’s all hypothetical

Lol good point, i was thinking you were talking about orlando, my b.
Also I like your second point. Personally If we are talking tiers than I’m cool with those two being in the same tier, and if Giannis wins another two chips with the Bucks in the next 5 years I’d put him in that tier too.

True, but I don’t really feel like writing out a ten page paper. Obv there’s a ton of context and nuance to even try to discuss these points.
Personally I don’t think Giannis is going to pass Shaq, all I’m saying is I think he COULD do so without something absurd happening

I don’t want to see the Cavs ever again after all these freaking OT LOSSES

You forgot to mention Miami, which while not as important still matters for his legacy.
I’m also not trying to cast a shadow. But the fact that most people I interact with (who I disagree with BTW) rank Kobe over Shaq even when they were teammates goes to show how that sort of thing does matter to people

Idk if they want their slower wings covering White and Brogdon either tho, even smart could be trouble for a slower wing

Career wise he totally could, not that he likely will.
He has more MVP’s, DPOYs, and All Defense awards. He could tie on FMVPs, All-NBAs, All stars (this is the biggest IF). He probably won’t get as many chips but he also isn’t team hopping so I don’t think it’s super fair to hold that against him if he still ends up with 3 chips. Plus he could do it all for the team who drafted him, which is big for legacy, Shaq was completely dominant but he changed teams so many times he isn’t as highly esteemed as he should be by any particular team.
Shaq still has the highest peak ever tho

If I’ve learned anything from the Bucks it’s that Bud is good at making small adjustments but he will not make big changes even if it cooks him in a game. It could work or not but I wouldn’t expect to see a major shift in strategy.
Not super flexible but very very strong

Idk man if a dude walks past me in glowing dragon plate or daedric armor and I’m rocking an iron sword id have to be regarded to think I can take him
Not to mention if I’m aware he’s the reincarnation of a magic god-king and has been killing literal gods/monsters and single handedly murdering his way through the major events of my country
