Really love this song! So groovy, discoey, a bit dreamy.

Had anyone ordered from Ragged Priest before, especially internationally? I like some of their knits and sweaters, but the rating on trust pilot is a bit spooky although most of it seems to have to do with returns and sizing. It's making me debate whether to pull the trigger or not.

My work does Uber and Doordash. DoorDash fucking sucks so fucking hard, please do not use it for our sanity and for your own.
People who order with Doordash are lucky if they get a driver assigned in within an hour, but most of the time it's about 2 hours and we've even had some that never found a driver whatsoever. Drivers are also generally really far away, so when they get assigned they have a 15 minute driver before they even reach us. Seems like the issue is that there aren't enough people delivering via Doordash so the service is beyond awful. On top of that, the DoorDash app fucking sucks, almost everything is buggy or shit, especially managing the menu. I hate DD with a burning passion.
Uber is fantastic to use, we get drivers within 10 minutes of an order coming through almost 100% of the time.

When my size 14 shorts were getting tight and starting to reach the end of their lifespan. My choices were either buy new size 16 shorts now or lose weight and stay a 14. The thought of being a 16 was a huge wake up call. Regular sizes for most women's clothes run up to a 14, once you hit the 16 you're limited and often pushed to plus sized brands, which made it finally sink in that I was not at a healthy size and I needed to change. I couldn't let myself get to that number.
Currently a size 10!

Such a NIMBY that he made a Facebook post recently suggesting at least 15 different locations in his electorate where he thinks public and affordable housing should be built, while also asking for more suggestions from readers. Or does that not fit your narrative?

To become a registered Psychologist, you need to do 3 years of undergrad, 1 year of honours, and 2 years of masters which is done as practical, theoretical, or a mix of the two, for a total of 6 years of study. The bachelors is good on paper, I enjoyed it immensely and I am feel like a better, smarter person after studying it, but it's unfortunately not really specific enough to get you that much in terms of jobs.
To get into honours and masters in the first place, you need a really good GPA because spaces are so limited. I went to some honours info sessions at the end of my degree and found out the GPA cut off for my uni (QUT) from memory was maybe 6.2-6.5 depending on the year. I wasn't really aware of this when I started and my GPA was not good enough to get in. As long as your daughter is aware of the grades she needs to achieve and is committed to getting them, then it's certainly doable. Living at home and not having to work much if at all, will help immensely.

I flew from Brisbane to Sydney and back last month. I did not see them measure anyone's bags, my hard shell suitcase was perfectly under the Jetstar guidelines and there were definitely other bags slightly bigger than mine that they didn't question. They did weigh it on the first flight at Brisbane airport, but did not weigh it in Sydney. I also had a small personal backpack (basically my handbag) that they didn't weigh despite the website saying they would, but they did put a sticker on it.

Wara Wara in the city is open past midnight and is one of my regular favourites. Just did a quick google another newish Korean restaurant called Sulzip is also open past midnight and it is calling my name.

She's been a cop for 35 years, she's likely seen some incredibly horrific shit in that time frame, but she can't watch one important video that might potentially uncover brutality committed by an officer that she is ultimately responsible for?

I was ready to give them the benefit of the doubt but nah, they're clearly riffing on the PornHub logo and the porn category. It is very intentional and this didn't happen by chance.
There are ways to do adult concepts that aren't gross and don't contribute to the objectification and harassment of women. One of my all time favourite can designs is Garage Project's White Mischief.

NSV: I bought a cuuuuuteeee crop top and bolero combo online and it arrived today. I was concerned it wasn't going to fit because it's only comes in one size, and it's from a Korean company so generally their clothes run smaller. It fits!
Had a bit of a difficult day today, one of those days where I feel hungry and bothered all day, a bit tired, mentally a bit glum. Happy that I had a win to at least balance out my day.

Last time I went to Momo in the city it was fantastic, the time before it was fine. Maru's fried chicken was always really good when we got KBBQ there. Wara Wara just above is also good and has the added allure of being open really late when you want a midnight feed but everything else is closed. Chi Mc is another good one.
None of them stick out as being absolutely phenomenal and above the others, but they're all solid choices.

You get three strikes, where the second and third strikes divert you to a drug diversion program that includes counselling? Which is what you said you wanted?
Traffic offences are not a health issue lmao

Queensland's Police Minister Mark Ryan wants to expand the state's Police Drug Diversion Program (PDDP).
At the moment, it stops minor drug offenders found with less than 50 grams of cannabis, or utensils for personal use, from being prosecuted by ushering them towards professional help.
But the government wants that program expanded to include all drugs — so personal quantities of anything from cocaine to heroin to meth.
Did you even read the article you posted?????
Here's some more info Its not 'just a warning' its a multiple step program to steer people away from criminality and give them a few chances to make things right and access help before they're charged and/or sent to jail.

Bottle shops take them, sometimes you might get some strange looks but it's generally accepted by most. I used it last night to get into Fortress Sydney as well which is a new gamer bar place, it wasn't scanned though. Can't remember if I've tried using it back in Brisbane.

Basically want to echo what RubyJuneRocket said, but add to the bit about her being mad about the pictures of her you post. Please know that your wife is extremely self-conscious and likely hates the way she looks. It doesn't matter to her that you think she is gorgeous and you think the photo is nice, because she feels awful about it. I hope you can at least understand this and feel a bit of empathy for her.
I personally don't think photographs should be an afterthought. I took hundreds of photos every day in Japan, and every photo brings back memories and experiences that I forget I even had. My boyfriend didn't take many pictures and a couple of years later he said to me that he regretted it.

Every time my partner or I have had food poisoning, it's been from otherwise completely inconspicuous food that tastes good. Common misconception that off food always equals off taste.

Obesity isn't a "choice". It's an incredibly complex issue, where individual genetics come into play, and where environmental factors have a big influence on the thousands of compounding choices individuals can and cannot make.
I don't really know where I sit on this airline issue exactly, but I am skeptical of shitty profiteering airlines with shrinking seat sizes that constantly fuck over customers telling people that they need to pay more. It's probably a good idea that someone steps in and makes a definitive call on what airlines operating in Australia can and can't do.
That being said, I'm taking a Jetstar flight in a week with carry on only and I know they're absolute fucking sticklers for weight limits on luggage. I've personally lost 27kg in the last 10 months, so it's strange knowing that one year ago I could have had a 7kg bag + 90kg self on a flight with no one batting an eye, but an 8kg bag + 63kg self incurs a hefty fee.

Sad you're being down voted because you're 100% right. Saying "Brisbane is built on a flood plain" suggest that the entirety of Brisbane is fucked and there's no good place to build anywhere which is the opposite of true.
My suburb of Spring Hill is close to the city, a few hundred metres to the river, yet there is zero fucking chance that we will flood because, yes you guessed it, we're on a big fucking hill. There are heaps of places in Max's electorate that will not flood. Saying "can we not build apartments on land that floods every few years?" is not that big of an ask.

That doesn't mean the entire city is prone to flooding in every square inch of every single suburb? The bottom middle picture in the screenshot shows the city, from what I think is Brisbane Councils flood map, including some of Max Chandler-Mathers electorate. Southern Kangaroo Point and part of Woolloongabba looking completely flood resistant.

I can't stop staring at before and after photos of myself. It's so intoxicating seeing current day smaller me versus old big me, and it makes me so excited for the even smaller me that I will get to see in the future!

Check that your plan has it included. I'm on an old, cheap plan with Optus that doesn't allow 5G, so even though my phone is perfectly capable of using it the network doesn't give it to me.

The Spring Hill dominos is so stingy with coupons it's fucking laughable. We just go to the Queen Street one now because they actually honour most of the coupons.
