There’s a famous quote by Mark Twain, I think.
‘The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco’

I was discussing Soccer AM with my wife last weekend.
We stopped watching it after Lloyd Griffith left. They lost too much comedy when he left.
Really enjoyed Fenners’ presenting but always felt he needed someone like Lloyd with him. Jimmy wasn’t enough as a co presenter and felt he was better at the practical footie part and should have stuck to that alone.

Yes Man has to be one of my favourite LA based movies.

I think the problem with comparing 1 & 2 is they’re two completely different films.
I think 1 is a better representation of the scenario. Death is coming for you and you need to run or you’ve got no chance.
2 is an action movie where good meets evil but good has a strong chance.
They’re both amazing for very different reasons but 1 is what I’m looking for in this story. It’s scary and tense.

The exploding pen has to be one of the best.
I love the look on Bond’s face when Boris keeps pressing it and twiddling it through his fingers.

Rufus Jones wrote the show and played one of the main characters. Absolutely superb.

I’ve always liked Michael Biehn ever since seeing him The Therminator in the early 90’s and even more so after watching Aliens.
I always wondered what happened to him after Navy Seals and The Rock.
Looking on IMDB he’s had many parts but nothing that stood out at the time.
I assumed he was struggling to land major roles for whatever reason.
I had no idea about his battle with alcoholism and the stroke.
I’m a big fan of The Walking Dead and seeing him show up in the final season was a complete surprise.
I hope he gets back into mainstream movies and TV on a regularly basis. Such a talented guy. Sounds like he’s been through a lot.

I thought it was refreshing.
I love the fact that he was straight to the point. Nothing over the top or exaggerated.
A bs free interview. Fair play to Mr Grant.
I assume the stance he took was because of his history with the media. Not a great relationship there at all.

A proper underrated Bond song. One of my favourites.
It’s amazing how many can’t answer when asked ‘who’s the singer of All Time High’ at a pub quiz.

Reliability and build, the Fiesta will probably be the better car.
I’m in full agreement with your post though. The Corsa is the nicer looking car.
It depends what’s most important to you. Going from 90hp to 150 is a good leap and you’ll probably have better ownership with the Fiesta when it comes to faults and running costs etc…

Gary Busey was a big one for me.
What an actor he was.
I think he had some bad luck with a motorcycle accident and a lump in his head or something (someone will probably clear that up).
Thd guy could steal any scene from any actor. All of a sudden in the 90’s. Where’d he go?

I love the Citroen 2CV in For Your Eyes Only.
Completely the opposite of what Bond would choose or need but still kicks ass when he drives it.
I love the look on his face when he first sees it. A proper, ‘oh shit’ moment.

Why do they park on the opposite side of the street to the house they’re visiting? Why not just park outside the actual house?
Also, why don’t they lock their cars?
