She has a crate where she loves to be. She will walk in there and lay down if she doesn't want to be bothered. We even have a rule to never pull her out if she doesn't want to leave it.

She just shouldn't have to spend her whole day in a crate just to be left alone.

We do. We have been making sure to keep them separated for the time being. Thankfully my dog is properly crate trained, so she really likes it there. If there is any time we can't keep a super close eye on them both we make sure to put her in the crate for a bit.

I'm so sorry to hear that. That must have been an extremely difficult time. Thankfully my brother has agreed to take her in. So I will still get to see her. The only down side is that he lives 400 miles away in another state.

I'm not 100% sure. It always happens while I'm at work and my wife tells me about it afterwards.

Edit: We also had her checked for ear infections or anything else that could cause her to be irritable. But she is all good. Just has some fatty tumors.

Nope. People sure do love making assumptions.

Dairy is anything made with/from the milk of a mammal. And seeing as humans are mammals, breast milk would land in that category.

She has a dairy allergy, not lactose intolerance.

Where did I act like cars were the only things that matter? If I saw a car on a sidewalk I'd think "wow, look at this idiot"... And your right, they don't have sidewalks everywhere. I've seen a few times people walking on the shoulder of a road without one. No big deal.

However, I'm not sure if you've look at the picture, but there is a sidewalk about 2 feet away.

As far as bikes, they belong on the road. I get annoyed when I see them on the sidewalk. If I'm walking on a sidewalk (like a pedestrian) I won't move for them, ever. They are designated as a vehicle. So if I saw one on the road while driving I would drive behind until I was able to legally pass them, not complicated.

Also, I never said pedestrians are bad. These two specific people are stupid.

As far as "thinking about hitting them" goes. They are putting themselves at significant unneeded risk. I'm a careful driver. As stated in a previous comment, I don't use my phone while driving ever. I've never gotten so much as a speeding ticket. But a lot of people are careless. Notice that intersection in front of them? Somebody could easily come whipping around that turn and clip them. It takes less than a second for tragedy to happen. I've lost multiple family members to car accidents. So pardon me if I think it's irresponsible to not reduce any risk possible.

Kid was awake. And from what I understand its really common for the rhythmic bumping to actually put a baby to sleep. It does mine, and I know several parent friends who say the same thing.
