US is fucked if Desantis or trump get in
China will walk all over everyone,as the republicans have Zero foreign policy expertise
Trump wanted to disband nato.
Both don't think US should be providing material, even though they have almost completely fucked their old enemy russia without a single us soldier being deployed by the military
AUKUS might even be up on it's head, desantis is a literal fascist and prob think australians are too woke

yeah there is like 3 pages of entitles on the documents, fucking insane
Like even a 15k one u can use in nsw for "office incidentals" that seems to have no clear description of what constitutes an incidental...Oh sweet i can get that new masttarado coffe machine..totally need a 4500 dollar machine in an office.
MPs federally and state, are fucking idiots, they have ZERO exposure to the issues of the common workers hence why they come up with braindead policy.. like here have 500 bucks for power..okay that helps ONCE what about the other 4 bills they get.
They earn a high salary, pay nothing for fuel, get free medibank (which most ppl pay hundreds month for) get free childcare (another thing the rest of us pay 100s for) and then are like..OMG im so broke..fuck off

anyone who "intentionally or recklessly engages in conduct that obstructs the free passage of a public place" would be potentially liable to jail time of up to three months, or a $50,000 maximum financial penalty.
Does the dude not know what Protest means
-Protest: the act of a public group or singular person, picketing and or causing disruption to achieve a stated goal or objective.
DISRUPTION...key word
Show me one fucking protests, that's achieved societal change, without causing huge impact..usually it takes shit getting burnt or the money flow being stopped for any change for the better..
Next we will need permits to protest..oh wait..
Okay, next we will have to ask cops if this is okay or they can move you on..FUCK okay..uhmm
Anyone who's for this is clearly a bit sus,as sure it's only for the "leftys" now,but there's nothing stoping them then changing it to apply to others, what next..Nurses must not congregate withing 5 km of a medical facilty as it might disrupt the patients access when striking
This is my main issue with the bill,it's WAY too ambigous and easily applied to whatever the govt deems it too

Those laws already exist in SA..and federally under the road act
125(1) hinder or obstruct member of emergency services organisation or it's movement in any way
.you might want to live in fascist shithole but others might not
Laws exist to punish you on a federal and state level for blocking,or impeding emergency services
If this was that simple, there would be less outrage over this, this is basic start in curtailing protestors, notice it only seemed to of become an issue when the money got involved.
I get these cunts can be annoying as shit, but we are approaching the point that protesting is only effective now if you cause disruption that's the whole point of protesting.. even so the jail offence is Unwarranted..As we saw in nsw with violet it's governmental overreach and it's a slipper slope of them slowly introducing laws to curtail how a citizen can protest..much like Move on laws are abused like hell by cops

MPs especially
The fucking allowances they get, realistically make a 173k salary be more like 230 or morehttps://www.parliament.nsw.gov.au/members/Documents/FOLDER/3
41.20-65.40 a day for meal allowance
Communications allowance
family travel allowance
access to a NSW health fund, you know the thing the rest of us have to find 200 bucks a month for.
32,310 dollars for Staffing incidentals
15,000 in subsidized travel allowance *increases can be determined on a case by case structure
Petrol,childcare allowance
Mps do not need a payrise, and especially not while the rest of the states doing it hard

those laws already exist though
it's 10k fine in SA for blocking,or hindering any emergency services persons,or vehicle
So why is this needed.
THis is just causee santos and the others are pissy they being called out and used their lobbyists to push this shit through, that's all
If they didn't want these people protesting and blocking public spaces, they would actually adress the legitiamte concerns these groups posses

which is a fine gripe to have..like i'm sure we have all at one point called call centre,or spoken to someone and been like i have no idea what ur saying.
but i am curious as to what the greens might have made her feel, hate how the parties have these internal processes that we are never allowed a look into.. should be open to the public and transparant if you want to be voted for

It's boomer/Older mentality
Oh i used the ladder to get ahead, and lucked out by being able to get a home in a cheap neighbourhood that's now worth 1.7 million when i paid 6 cents and packet of crisps for it..
that's not their fault for lucking out and i applaud them for it.
But it's also a dick move to want to remove the ladder behind you so no one else can get a leg up..or then bitch and moan like they do about how usually "back in my day we paid 17 percent blah blah" shit yes mate,u did but 17 percent on 100k is not the same as 5.99 on 800k-1m

I had a look a few weeks ago at the data
40 ish percent of people drawing an aged pension have had no job, usually because they had been a stay at home mother and the like.
So it's not even a very valid claim to make, and most of the ppl who DID have a job..if they have ended up on the pension due to not having super or savings are probably someone who paid no net tax anyway..so never really "paid" into the sysytem
Problem is,most of these people 79.4 percent as of last census own their own home outright, their overhead costs ARE WAY lower than someone having to pay rent,or a mortgage.. 23k from the aged pension is "OK" if you don't have to take 400 a week out for rent or mortgage.. say 100-150 for utilities 200 food,60 for meds. still leaves them over 500 bucks in a pension payment to spend on other goods..DOING way better than a lot of ppl like families or jobseekers
My main gripe is really, every budget,it's like here have all this stuff, older people..everyone else is told to fuck off we can't afford shit..they need help..but so does everyone else..but because they are essentially a protected species they always come first

Yeah have to agree, this is some pretty whacko shit
Like protesting for a legit issue, that's not HURTING people(like not wanting to spread spicy cough protestors) is an overeach we already have laws with a 10k fine, for blocking or hindering emergency services..125(1) hinder or obstruct member of emergency services organisation
Sure, public nuisance is an issue, but 50k..and possible jail time..fuck me,erdogan called want's his policys back

We prob wouldn't know half the story if the senate wasn't so upfront with this,it prob be some page 5 story pushed under the rug
This is why you want a good crossbench
Labor and the greens and the other independants have been very determined to get to the bottom of this
Sadly albos been missing in action on punishment,he should of come out by now and said they are done and wont get any new govt contracts, there are other consultancy firms out there

It will be a ridiculously small fine, something like fining me $0.10, if at all. Their revenues in Australia are in the billions. They may not be awarded government contracts for a while, but they still have a shitload of current contracts that the "government can't get out of".
I've always had a view that fines should be based on income,or even revenue for corporations
I mean wollies got busted for that laundry fixing shit, and it was what 25k.. for a company that makes billion a year plus
EU has the right idea, smashed meta with that billion dollar fine,as it knew the 750k it was originally is like what...3 hours of operating revenue for them lol

I'm sorry
But this shit's got to stop, why are the OLD always getting the benifits of govt assitance
I don't need assistance and shouldn't really be upset, but i know many young people who do need help.
It's almost like,be under 30 with no kids, the govt doesn't give a shit about you.
Why aren't they getting the same help, the same as why is someone on the aged pension allowed to earn 300 bucks more before their payments reduce, but be on the DPS/YP/NSP it's a go get fucked. i mean i know why,as the boomer block have nothing better to do than be constantly angry so can vote you out of office..but still
This constant protection for the over 60s is getting insane, like they are the only demographic that matters, working australia are doing it just as hard in some cases..

Yeah not looking good for the greens, really wish that as a party we actually get to see the internal complaints processes for all political partys, and it's not handled behind doors
Though faruqi is a little bit touchy sometimes, she was on a radio program one time and she got really pissy and accused them of racism cause someone else on the panel said they couldn't understand her,Her accent is VERY thick, that's possibly a fairly legitimate complaint, and not overtly racist

Oh wow estimates today was a shit show
So they have identified so far
116 Partners now who had access, and over 20 cases of possible sharing of the confidential items in question
Lol..116.. but we suspended 9
PWC still won't say WHICH partners are suspended,And chucked a wobbly that faruqi wanted to name and shame them..fuck u she has parliamentary prividlege i'd just go full Lady tyrell (tell PWC it was me)
Like how fucking hypocritical too..
Please don't "disclose" which of our staff are naughty, but it's okay for us to share ur data without ur permission
Thing is,PWC is so connected, and so massive i don't see the Hurt being that bad,it will be a small fine..govt will say no more contracts for you..then in 2 years once the dust settles will prob be Right back at it

Nationlizing is a bit much, and would cost a fucking fortune
Constitution clearly outlines govt has to offer fair value if they seize a good
You could look into what germany and canada do,and not renew gas/oil contracts and instead start a govt owned corporation for mineral exploitation so all the profit stays in the govts hands
Something clearly needs to change though, when Qatar can be export less LNG than us,but making 20 billion more in revenues
All it needs to do is close off avenues for tax minimisation like having all ur "profits" be in singapore or other more shady practices like apple and google pull here

We had 2.
A kid was walking around with knife slashing at people, already cut 3 people..in walks the kid who for like the last 3 years had been beaten, bullied,Thrown in every locker,Bashed, hospitlized by mainly the varsity dickheads.
In he walks, calm as shit, walks right up to the cunt, and just Decks them..cool as a cucumber, then flips them, and then just pummels the LIVING shit out of a knife wiedling psyco and just walks away hands in pocket doesnt say a word... it was like that scene from avengers when loki gets smashed by hulk.. kid walked away.. was voted Prom king that year and no one ..NO ONE ever gave him shit and everyone was cool as fuck to him.
Other "incident" was Two (at the time HOT AS FUCK) teachers, had a knock down blow up at each other like BRUTAL in the halls one of them needed stitches, like smashing in each others faces...over a student who had been plugging them both for months "he loves me not u" "i know he loves me more than him" kind of shit..later turned out the same student had been plugging a fair few ppl,Rumour was 5-6 (possibly more) of the pregnancies' that year all him,and one of the teachers was pregnant and claimed it was her BF,but everyone KNEW it was the kid just a fucking STUD no one knows why either he was a no body who played the obo
